Something does not make sense to me.... can I (per scene) only insert one pattern per group? Meaning if I have 4 patterns on group A, can I put them into a scene in succession? or do I have to clone it to Group B and then redo the pattern in group b? cause if so... that's fucking dumb and MPCs are better.

@ShomaAvarec 10 fucking days? I just got Maschine yesterday. Its cool but it is taking a while to learn. I still don't see many advantages over my usual set-up of Live + Launchpad.

@beatjugglez Pattern is the individual loops you have created. Scene is when you have a group of patterns together.

@dillinjabreakz Don't listen to everyone else. Its extremely simple and intuitive. I bought mine today and I love it. I didn't even have to open the manual to understand almost all of the basic functionality.

@OzBoomBap86 The patterns are just Actors, your Song is the Stage. Create a performance by collecting Actors together in Scenes, and put the Scenes together to create your Show.

@dillinjabreakz it's actually much more intuitive when you do it. Its quite productive and I use this workflow to test drive ideas. However, I wouldnt use the song feature to write songs :D I export my stuff out to Ableton as I find that suits my way of creating tracks much more effective.

sO HOW DO YOU MAKE CHANGES WITHIN PATTERNS FOR "SONG MODE" PURPOSES...SAY IF I DROP OUT A KICK AT THE 8TH BAR...IT CHANGES THE PATTERN FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE SONG....HELP!!

great feature for spontaneous live performances, as long as you aren't controlling external hardware, then all hell breaks loose...

@vileguile4 If you are sending MIDI to hardware synths with MASCHINE, everything is fine until you RETRIGGER SCENES. MASCHINE does not send out MIDI Note Off messages when you retrigger...That means your hardware synths will have hanging notes. That's very bad.
