  • Um...do you have a instructor???

  • i resently bought a set of bellows from simon and they are very good quality and at a very fair price. Some other makers are charging a arm and a leg.

  • Just got back from the UK yesterday and visited Simon Hope. Had bellows, a new dual bag and cover and new drone and chanter reeds fitted with a drying system. Now they sound great.

  • I meant to add that the only drone playing is the tenor, the other two drones have slightly bent reeds. I have been learning the GHB for 4years, very slow progress, maybe I should give up learnng altogther

  • @nhorton1

    dont give up.

  • Keep going! you need regular practice on the practice chanter and lessons and support from other pipers if you are playing the highland pipes, It requires constant physical practice, I am playing a one droned "practice smallpipe" myself these days to keep my piping going myself.
