@peachymanatee she's a lot taller and heavier at age 20 than she was at 12... eventually that type of jumping really starts to take a tole on the legs and achilles tendon. Tara Lipinski could be seen as a prime example.

@phusk8r because you're only allowed to repeat 2 triples and she would use up all of her jumps. but yeah, she is amazing, hopefully in the future that rule will be changed.

Her long program was amazing she landed a tripple axle at the age of 11 i mean c-mon ive only just past primary the levels go pre-lim then elementry1 then elementry2 then pre-primary then primary which is the one that im on then intermediant then novice then junior which is the one that mao is in in this program and then the highest which is senior so WOW well done mao for getting into such a high level so quickly well done

this was still during the 6.0 scoring system, which was based more on performance and how you can sell it, and since mao was so young they accounted her maturity level i'm sure. if it was based on the new points systems she would have won.

@HelTra91 Hopefully! I just judged her in the new system and according to me she got 107.28 for this program! Technical score of 60.80 and components of 46.38! She is an amazing skater now though! I love her music choices for this season!
