  • ...also it says "1981" in roman numerals at the end of the BBC credits.....

  • Muy bueno de lo mejor del Funk gracias por subirlo.

  • Красавцы, жаль сейчас такую музыку не пишут

  • At 0:08 is Toby Anderson -- who would later go on to be the "unseen" fifth member of Curiosity Killed The Cat . . . Whoever made the decision to do this to Toby while he was in Curiosity is a fucking dick. How Curiosity's drug abuse eventually put them down the dumper will always be a source of sadness for me.

  • As far as I am concerned they only released one album but it was a good one. funky..

  • One of my favorite band ever!!! L.O.V.E.

(would like to contact you, if u want)

  • would like to make music with these guys (please write me in pvt) Johnson Righeira

  • I'm at the back in a red dress about 4th in from the left.

  • Wow. Who knew President Obama (singer on the right with the green trousers) could throw down so groovily back in the day?

  • omg how did i forget this classic..i was at school still and loved this..good times wedge hair cut baggy jeans and loafers...love it..great down load.....wow..and dont forget bagger and co plus light of the world all out about the sametime...classic brit-funk..

  • I always wondered what happened to the guys after this. I know one is a furniture designer in New York. I'll start a facebook page "Funkapolitan appreciation society".

  • top brit funk, produced by Kid Creole if im correct

  • It was august 1981. I should know. I'm in it.

  • @rachelwoolly Cool ! Which one are you Rach ? (what was it like being there ? Do you remember who else was on ?)

  • @kieranstack I'm the one in the red dress with short black hair to the left at the back. Its not that clear. Soft cell was no. 1 with tainted love. Bucks fizz was on and Dollar and Teardrop explodes. Also it started off with Everybody Salsa by Modern Romance. Was a long time ago but i remember loving every minute of it. xx

  • @rachelwoolly At 42 seconds way at the back between the tall guy and the girl with long hair ?

  • @rachelwoolly who were you then? I put it down as 1984. - stand corrected.

  • TOTP from 3-9-1981

  • I saw them in Leeds at the Warehouse in 81. I thought they were part of that Anthony Price suit/ Kings Rd scene ... interesting to see this clip.

  • They certainly looked a bit star-struck in this performance. My privilege - there is a TOTP reference of them on YouTube. 25/6 years ago when I first became aware of them, I couldn't conceive that I'd see them this much later. My life is complete.

  • i always remember this group-even after 25 years the lyrics--thank god that i,m not blind ,have forever stuck in my head, weird???

  • Don't suppose you've seen the vid of them at Glastonbury?

  • Good to see this clip of Fukapolitan! One of thier only hits i believe. By this clip you can see it was nearing the end of the appearance of the totp dance troupe Legs and Co :-(, for they were appearing less in the fore front, and dancing to tracks in the backround more! By the way neofunkyman1,this totp clip is from summer ie August "1981" not "1984" as you have on your info. Nice post!! Thanks! Benja :-)

  • The little prince and Dixon of Portobello dock Green

  • Which one's Greg Craig? Is he on the bongoes?

  • One of my favorite songs ever!

I play this record since 96

  • This is TOTP in August 1981. Legs & Co. can be seen dancing in the background among the audience.

  • fantastic
