  • ele ainda tinha cabelo....

  • égua, os caras ainda eram muleques mesmo...mas ja faziam musica com qualidade...gostei...muito bom.

  • Every song on the Mental Jewelry CD was great. I played the hell outta the CD

  • OMG I love Live so much and I forgot this song even existed! I am so happy I found this. Amazing song! I vow to never forget this awesomeness again.

  • The lyrics of this song are just as applicable today as when they were written, 20 years ago. It is a searing indictment of the average citizen's preoccupation with materialism, empty slogans and signs of patriotism, and our glorification of war. All you have to do is change the term "holy Desert Shield" to "holy War on Terror" and it was like that song was written for today. This song was a true masterpiece precisely because it told us to wake up! Apparently, we are still in a slumber.

  • FUUCCKK SHIT MELODY SHIT MEDLODY

  • is this on the old Jon Stewart show...

  • This band started with so much promise. Personally I think Ed got way too comfortable in his own skin by the time they made Songs from Black Mountain.

More Bon Jovi then REM., and going on American Idol! Why would anyone do that unless they were desperate? Can you imagine Pearl Jam doing that? However, that said, he still has one of the most interesting and powerful voices in rock.

  • i LOVE the melody of Eds voice in this song !

  • They were meant to be huge like U2...maybe bigger.

  • in MTV Brazil i used to be watch a video of this song which is placed in a show put up by a radio station...the band plays better than in this one...anyone has that video??

    thanks

  • chad gracey's drumming back then and the TC/SS days were sooooo interesting and creative.

  • First song I ever heard from them and I was kinda wowed, cuz they were local boys for me. It's not everyday that great rock musicians rise from the dust of the amish farmlands. I also got see Kowalczyk throw a punch with intent at the sound guy after a concert at Rosemont college in 93. That woulda landed too but the drummer caught him and he whiffed by what looked to be about 1/2 an inch.

  • Wow, love these early tunes! Looks like young Ed was boldly blazing the beginnings of a 'stache here:)

  • so lovely hair, Ed!!! beautiful!!!! ;*

  • ya well so long to live. what a fucking fiasco this has become, hopefully the gracious few will be good.

  • This song bring me back good memories of my young days, love it .

  • yeaa amazing

  • The best of live. Uma musica com alma.

    Lindaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

  • simply awesome to see. Ive been going to see live for over ten years and they are great, its awesome to see their beginnings

  • essa musica é maravilhosa, e a melodia enlouquece, faz viajar................

  • Seen Live twice in concert and both times amazing and yeah Mental Jewlery is best album indeed, second for me is Secret Samadhi.

  • yea secret samadhi does get overshadowed by throwing copper and mental jewlery but is great

  • Is mental jewlery as heavy as Throwing copper or Secret Samadhi?

  • In a sense it's not as heavy as Throwing Copper, but a little more raw.

  • By raw do you mean that use more of that weird unique sound that they stopped after secret samadhi?

I would call heavier more raw.

  • I dont thin so, its Beutiful , Id say, intetign Guy
