Hi Brite,

I will have a go with this, I use a very intensive cpu virtulisation program called gns3 which emulates cisco routers. I have a windows 7 pc running on quad core intel with 8GB ram and it still cains it !!

I will see if process tamer is any good in this scenario and stops my pc from freezing (I also had a look at process lasso but you have to buy that and I didnt want to take the risk incase ot was a pile of crap

The reason I use this kind of product is because: I like having my machine fairly optimized, and now I can do intensive tasks and not have to worry about manually changing the tasks priorities in order to free up CPU. Also don't have to worry about my computer every locking up at 100%.

Process Tamer is awesome. For those who'd rather buy their software, well, they could make a donation to the author of process tamer and "buy" it and a lot of other software from that donationcoder website (probably the best value for your money). Or they could buy Process Lasso which does the same thing as Tamer. Both great products. I'm using Lasso right now because of a giveaway but used Tamer for awhile and it works fine.

Just another quick question, the process that i stopped running with Process Tamer was called gamupdater.exe (I set it to force kill, because whenever it was running, it caused my CPU to go ape shit =P). When i search my computer, it seems as if it doesnt exist at all, yet still runs frequently... What could it be?
