dark sector in my pc the first video and sometimes while playing the game slows down so the problem its my sistem?

here is my system:

intel core 2 duo e4400-2.00ghz

2gb of ram-533mhz ddr2

asus geforce 9600gt 1gb ddr3

so probably my graphics card its been bottlenecking by the rest of my system?

so the bottlenecking its the cause for this breaks and slowdowns?

please reply me cause i bought my videocard yesterday and im afraid if she could be broken.....

I played this game after seeing bad reviews back in 2007 but checking the story out, the graphics and the whole atmosphere made buy it and love it instantly!

Unfortunately my 360 gave me the RROD soon after so I'm about to buy the recently released PC version.
