that thing is way underpowered, that sub will hit way harder if you had a bigger amp...those amps really only put out around 350 watts @ 4 ohms, find a monoblock amp that is 1 ohm stable, as long as your sub has 2 ohm voice coils, wire it to 1 ohm, then that shit will really hit hard. power acoustiks makes good amps, really cheap, look into them. or better yet RF, kicker, or Memphis.

@christopher12344321 is beccause 'by hiting hard' in a sealed box it will bump more and shake the car, etc. and in a ported box it will sound louder because it will have more echo because of the ported part of the box....personally i think a 15' kicker should go in a big sealed box

sub is way underpowered. i think you should get a better batt. you said your amp is 1300 watt (rms?) so it would be fine. but low voltage can kill your amp and damage it!!!!
