This is so fantastic! There she is! God Bless Elaine. You can see her wry humor that makes her so special. This is priceless! That powerhouse voice before American Idol. Yes kids we all age and Elaine has aged very well. Thank you for posting. Appreciated.
Wow I had no Idea she opened for George Carlin in 60's etc and knew him, big fan of his too, took my late mother to see George Carlin in 2001...amazing
I've forwarded the comments to Spanky... not sure she considers herself retired...she made a CD fairly recently (sometime after the George Carlin funeral)...and she certainly sings all over our town, which she has adopted as her home (Ferndale, California, population 1400). Did some amazing bluesy 40s songs under a movie we made about World War II.
Great video. Longtime fan of Elaine. Saw her perform many times. Hope she has many years ahead. I get the sense from the clip that she's considers herself retired. Hope not.
I love Spanky. I used to listen to an album I bought of Spanky and our Gang for hours and hours when I was a young teenager. What a beautiful voice and music. So peaceful, relaxing and beautiful. I presently have their greatest hits CD which I downloaded to my external hard drive. Thank you so much for posting this video. Thank you so much for your beautiful music Spanky. a fan!
