I dislocated both of my elbows at the same time when I was 16. Most painful thing in my life. They had to put me under to put them back in though. They were out of place for 8 hours because they couldn't put me out because I had one granola bar 15 min before the injury... and my stomach had to be empty. I needed 2 surgeries on one of them..

i did the same to my elbow it only took me 2 weeks to get rid of the sling and about a mouth to be 100% its fine now im 19 tho dislocated my left elbow and fratured my right one at the same time i fell its been about a mouth n a half since and my right arm stilll sore

i had this last week. It's still hurting but not too bad. I think the average recovery time is 10 weeks. I did mine at motocross, I came off and had my hand planted on the ground about to get up with my arm slightly bent then some goon ran over my elbow. I went to get back on the bike! has anyone else got the semi solid fluid in thier arm were you can press it and it leaves an indentation for like 20 seconds?

Hi, i dislocated my elbow about a month ago that did not require surgery and have been doing excersises in and out of therapy. I understand that shoulder dislocations and acl tears make it more likely that you can redislocate/tear those parts of the body. Since the elbow is mostly held together by a unique bone structure, does dislocating your elbow have an effect on making your elbow alot more prone to dislocate in the future?

@mexiguese13 my physio said that the elbow isnt more likely to dislocate again .. i dislocated mine a month ago and im back playing sport already .. my elbow looked alot worse than this guys but this guy still took it very well ,its never nice to dislocate an elbow

thats awesome, it dosnt hurt, i had that 2 weeks ago, in fact, it shakes the pain away! it feels soo good. took 15 days to heal and 10 more to gain movement

It still hasn't fully healed. The bruising went away pretty quick and it took a few months until I could move it. Now the only strange thing is that my ring finger and pinky go to sleep all the time. It sucks dude, good luck!
