He looked knackered after scoring his sixth goal above for two reasons, 1) I think he was just back from suspension (he was known as one of the fittest players in the league and almost always trained overtime after everyone had left) 2) both the pitch and ball where very heavy, the pitches back then being nothing comparable to the top pitches today.

Besty & Pele the two best players I have ever seen. One thing though watching these clips, towards the end of the sequence when he scores he looks totally knackered and does no celebration.

It makes me think how much better he would have been if he had kept himself fit.
