Led Zeppelin is the greatest band ever and it is such a shame to see there are people that don't even know them. I guess the 60% of the present people there don't even know that John is actually blues

@FreddySeraf I saw him several years ago when he was on tour for Heavier Things. During a song, he started playing the opening riff to "Layla" and there was a collective "huh?" from the crowd. My point: John Mayer's music is great, but his fans aren't always well versed in the music that inspired him. Or to put it another way, too many of his fans are dumb sorority girls.

I was there! Almost lost my mind when I heard Led Zeppelin as the lead in for one of John's great tunes. Brad Mehldau was truly impressive in person. And it was his 40th birthday the next day!
