People who say Anderson and Alucard are equals..lol they are not, Anderson may have fast attack speed and fierceness however he has not fought Alucard with Alucard releasing his power with those dogs/hounds and such, not to mention Alucard can survive decapitation, whilst Anderson can not nor can he survive if he gets shot in the head numerous amount of times.

Video was a little grainy and some parts were off but for your first time not bad at all. As for the Anderson comments, I read the anime, and while he is weaker than Alucard, Alucard did give him a chance to kill him, but Anderson blew it by becoming a monster. He does seem more interesting in the OVA, then again, i tend to like the OVA and manga better as a whole.

hellsing ultimate is a real anime. as the boss from metal gear solid 3 would say "it has an emotion to carry into battle". afro samurai's emotion is rap. samurai champloo has funky beatboxing. hellsing ultimate has the best of all animes ever...metal. h.o.t.d. has fantasy-tastic girls, and death note has a cheap "kill-anyone" book. those are NOT animes, there just annoying=)

@MrTheguywithalife Actually, both Hellsing and Death Note are excellent animés. If you had seen Death Note, you would also know, that the book is often only the thing that starts the plots. What keeps it going is mystery, suspense, excellent characters and brilliant writing. Hellsing is about the Rule of Cool and awesome action scenes. Death Note is about tension and battles of wits. The two are incomparable.

Personally, I think Anderson and Alucard got mixed up: You would think that the older guy (Alucard) who probably used to fight with swords all the time would be using a rapier, whilst Anderson would be using the holy bullets.

Actually Alucard is a lot stronger then Anderson. Anderson uses his bible pages to block out some of Alucard's powers that combined with Alucard not releasing his seals while in combat means Alucard is only fighting at a fraction of his true strength.

And sure, Anderson has some good speed, but Alucard is faster. And Anderson has holy daggers and an anti-vampire barrier to keep them from escaping. But Alucard never had to escape in the first place. Anderson did. Without blades, Anderson's useless. Without his gun, Alucard still kills effectively.

Actually, the author of Hellsing compared Alucard to Vash in the back of one of the manga volumes. He said he was worried that readers might take Alucard as a Vash clone because of the similarities. AND YES, THEY ARE SIMILAR! Red coats, cool glasses, expert aim... But VASTLY different personalities.
