We can argue with one another about whether climate change is real or not what we should really be doing is looking at our culture of excess and changing the way we live. We are sold a way of life thru advertising and the media and we literally buy into this hook line and sinker. Be aware that climate change has an economic value attached to it as well. It does not mean to continue to be wasteful but to be green smart. Not every label that says green or eco is in fact true. Inform yourself.

I watched a television show yesterday about a young man who traveled across the continent on nothing but bio diesel fuel. That's diesel fuel made from soy. He found various people who had cars/boats/motorcycles that used it and went from one side of the continent to the other. Bio diesel is environmentally friendly. If spilled in the water, it breaks down & becomes harmless. It doesn't pollute the air. And it works as well as "regular" diesel.
I agree with manrabyort. We are overpopulated, we rarely have any predators, but we do get killed by different animals. Our own Department of Fish and Game has set limits on the animals we hunt to balance the system so they can maintain their species. We have no such balancing sytem for Humans. The planets climate may be partly affected by the sun and its activity, however, Theres clear proof that "global warming" better called climate change is cause by humans. Global warmings a bad term for it because our earth isnt just warming. We are causing weather extremes. It snowed in isreal, brazil got a hurricane and the floods and everything else happening. Good morning, Kyle. I Thank you (most sincerely) for the reply. I truly do not like pollution, and I do like polar bears. I like wild, rugged, and scenic country. I simply do not believe that human activity (such as it is) has the power to change the temperature of the climate anymore than Christmas Tree lights have the power to warm the house. From what I understand, many scientists are now leaving this theory behind.

BioFuel is a broad term, and though some, like ethanol is bad, not all of it is. BioDiesel is made with recycled vegetable oil, and doesn't use food to make fuel. It takes used oil that resaraunts have used in cooking, and converts it into biodiesel. Otherwise, this used oil would just be thrown out.

We can argue with one another about whether climate change is real or not what we should really be doing is looking at our culture of excess and changing the way we live. We are sold a way of life thru advertising and the media and we literally buy into this hook line and sinker. Be aware that climate change has an economic value attached to it as well. It does not mean to continue to be wasteful but to be green smart. Not every label that says green or eco is in fact true. Inform yourself.

I watched a television show yesterday about a young man who traveled across the continent on nothing but bio diesel fuel. That's diesel fuel made from soy. He found various people who had cars/boats/motorcycles that used it and went from one side of the continent to the other. Bio diesel is environmentally friendly. If spilled in the water, it breaks down & becomes harmless. It doesn't pollute the air. And it works as well as "regular" diesel.

I do not like pollution, however, "Global Warming" is not caused by humans. Polar bears are actually INCREASING in number. Please don't forget, that Mars is loosing it's polar caps as well, and there are no SUV's, no oil rigs, and no factories on Mars. Futhermore, Mars' atmosphere is approximately 95 percent CO2, whereas Earth's atmosphere is less than 3 percent. The Global warming is caused by pulses in the sun over periods of time.

I think you have your sources wrong. The planets climate may be partly affected by the sun and its activity, however, Theres clear proof that "global warming" better called climate change is cause by humans. Global warmings a bad term for it because our earth isnt just warming. We are causing weather extremes. It snowed in isreal, brazil got a hurricane and the floods and everything else happening. Just research it. Take the time and understand it and Polar bears are not increasing in number.

I simply do not believe that human activity (such as it is) has the power to change the temperature of the climate anymore than Christmas Tree lights have the power to warm the house. From what I understand, many scientists are now leaving this theory behind.

BioFuel is a broad term, and though some, like ethanol is bad, not all of it is. BioDiesel is made with recycled vegetable oil, and doesn't use food to make fuel. It takes used oil that resaraunts have used in cooking, and converts it into biodiesel. Otherwise, this used oil would just be thrown out.

The worldwide pollution is enormous.We don't know for sure that global warming is 100% caused by humans or 25% caused by humans.
No matter procentage, I hope all join the fight to make this world more healthy. For ourselves, for the animals, and the plants.
For our childrens future.
To reduce all types of pollution and save the rainforests can never be a bad thing to do.And now is the time.

Of course, there is no proof supporting anything, but there is a distict possibility. Isn't that enough to justify caution, a bit of conservativeness? Simple and conventional risk analysis says YES. To do otherwise would be irresponsible.
