I own a Leipzig-s. No keyboard but 8-step multi-routable sequencer. They are great sounding synths with their own kind of edge you won't find anywhere else.
Check my YouTube channel or find me Soundcloud if you like analogue synths such as this one.
@whytelynes I'm not sure if you can put it like that ... the Leipzig-s has 1 LFO-rate knob but each of the 3 modulation sources (VCO1, VCO2 and Filter) can have their individual wave form triangle or square or have midi, envelopes or a VCO shape the individual LFO, each with an amount knob. It's a great sounding instrument imho.
@astroboomboy you mean, like adjusting the tuning? or other adjustments? If you could give me a heads-up about potential cautions with this synth I would greatly appreciate it, because on the basis of playing it in a store a bit and hearing stuff on YT demos I am seriously considering buying it if I can get it for a good price...
@whytelynes No, just adjusting the tuning. It's quite easy, and can be done from the menu where you can calibrate the distance between the notes, which for me was a bit off. I also had a professional calibrate the tuning itself, the three oscillators that is, and since then no problems with that.
Because the synth is analogue and use discreet units there are some noise, but I realize that this is to be expected, and after having played other analogue gear it isn't much worse than many other
@whytelynes overall I'm quite pleased with both the sound and the way it responds. The only problem I haven't been able to fix is the Midi. The synth is prone to sometimes not respond to midi, or just stop responding at times, and I have to turn it off/on. I don't know if a new OS is coming out, but I think it can be fixed using with new OS. Remember the sound is very raw and dirty, and if you want that old school bass you should instead search for a Moog. I use it mainly for crazy stuff
why are the sounds off-centered?

@narudh louder in one one side than the other? The camera was at an angle, so was probably closer to one speaker than another.

I've had so much problems with this synth.

@astroboomboy Most of them have been solved now after I realised that you have to fine tune these bastards!
