I wish I had played FoM during those days, the graphics may look worse but it still seems like back then it was a much better game than it is now.

peoples its back, and being remade, i saw this game years ago but never played it then i found it and decided to play it then i found out it was shutdown and there remakeing it! i cant wait to play it but its going to take long, the closed beta is oing to come in like january

@domnikoli Hardly. I'd settle with any other game than FOM in it's current state. There are like.. 1/4 of the original players playing right now. I found it WAY more enjoyable with zerg battles that scaled to like.. 30v30+. Now it's what.. 10v10?

I remember in Open Beta, me and some AC guys went to the Moon base place, i forget what it was called, wiped out the AE there that were watching over the aliens, then we killed it, and went to some other Place, killed some AE there, like 30 showed up, and we got our asses kicked lol.

God, this game was so GOOD pre-Milestone 1. They wasted time and money on upping graphics that didn't really need any improvement, instead of trying to improve gameplay mechanics.

This game was great back in open beta. The huge graphical/game-play update just before p2p killed it for me.. just couldn't get into it.

It was a very good game in its day, very fun with people, especially the family atomosphere in american enterprises.

I respect your right to have a view so ill keep it up here but for the record i have also played WoW got bored of it.. came back.. got bored of it (4 times total.. the last time it took me only 3 days to get bored.)

FoM is very dynamic and player driven in a way that world of warcraft very much lacks or at least thats how i remember it.

It was like a whole second world.. in the future. The roleplaying aspect was so intuitive, and the options were almost endless.

Also I loved the open PVP. It brought an awesome free feel to the game. It was like life.

I just hope they manage to bring it back in FOM rebirth!

OK everyone who is watching FOM videos deciding wether to play this game, listen up. THis game is boring, all you do is PvP, there are only 1-2 armor types, you can't go IN cities (you can only go inside the airport), all the factions are run by players...which sounds fun but ends up being a bitch because the nerds in charge make you follow retarded rules. GL and don't fall victom to this game like I did.
