All people - the headset comes with RCA cables for decent sound but for the Dolby 5.1 simulated surround sound you must buy an optical TOSlink cable. (I recommend off amazon or from a local department store because the $20 astro asks for is over priced).

Foxlogo, it comes with wires to get good sound, but for the best sound you should by an optical TOSlink cable to replace that. The wire is very cheap and can be bought many places. (don't order the one from astro cuz they charge $20 and it's worth $5).

In addition, why I care of the video pass? Well I want to connect it using the HDMi, but still I know I can handle all this by using the HDMi to connect to the LCD and an additional Optical Digital cable for the 5.1c audio, but I prefer to reduce cables.

No, what I meant was that the video says 720p, but 720p is for video bypass from the mixers, so I need a sound system that allows the full 1080p lines of the FullHD videos since it'll be a complete waste since Blu-ray sends a 1080p so if the mixer only allows a 720 lines stream its no good. I already have in mind a SONY system that has tiny speakers (golf-sized) and the wofer that contains all the mixing hardware so I don't need to buy another BD or DVD hardware I only need the sound system.

You can get the headphones by themselves for $200 and you can get the headphones + mix-amp for $250. So i would get the headphones plus mix-amp because the mix-amp alone costs $130 so ur better off buying them both together instead of buying them separate
