You must live in Spring Ridge or near there? I live in Green Valley. And I have to agree, Frederick does a great job of keeping the main roads in good condition. Some of the back roads in my area were really bad, but not terribly hard to get thru. Great video of the commute. Glad you made it home safe.
Why don't you share with us a little about you. Where in Alexandria do you work and what do you do? How long have you lived in MD and other than how they keep the roads plowed, what do you like about it? Dislike about it? Also, comment on the final trip to the store before the blizzard hit.
I put a medium duty tripod in the passenger side of the 4x4 Pathfinder and a small, very light full HD Samsung camcorder on top. The tripod has a long control handle making it easy to pan while driving. The video ended up being pretty smooth. Think the seat absorbs some of the shock.

OMG!! LOL Yep Wish our roads were that nice here and i think its a VDOT issue.. heaven forbid they plow the snow when its snowing!! Our private contractor has us down to pavement in our neighborhood now..lets see how VDOT does on Telegraph Road! RIGHT!
