Everyone has their own opinion but facts are facts. Regardless of how you feel about how he played or his overall poker skill he not only made it to the final table beating thousands to make it there, he took everyone down winning this championship. He will be the first to tell you he has only been playing a few years. This was just his tournament to win. He is a wonderful man & has done more with his winnings to help others than anyone else would have giving over a million to help children.

If I was even stupid enough to play in those tourneys, I'd play well and just get unlucky. The game is mostly luck when it comes to tourneys anyway. You can be a good player like Hellmuth or Ferguson and still lose because you come across idiots that put their chips in with marginal or drawing hands.

Cash games are where the best players make real money. It's one thing to bluff your chips in a $1,000 buy in tourney, it's another thing to bluff $20,000 in a cash game.

Jerry Yang certainly isn't a "loser" as some have said but he is very mediocre at poker. The deck just happened to hit him in the face to build a huge lead then play big stack poker like just about anyone can do. If Kravchenko doubled on that hand he would likely have taken it down at that point as he was by far the best left. Yang has basically disappeared from the face of th earth since his win proving he had one luckbox run. Of course we would all take one luckbox run to win that money
