Dammit, this series really plucks at your heartstrings..In the first game of the series, they make you grow to hate malpercio, only to learn of it's innocence and it wanting to be destroyed, but it never devoids you of the hate you feel for it. In Origins, you learn that the god is comprised of five warriors who fought against a separate deity, naming themselves Malpercio. You can't help but feel remorse for yourself at this point, and start to feel the pain they felt..Bravo, Nintendo.

@RebelG0ds the no rank 5 thing is a glitch from "making small talk" with the registration lady.. i read on gamefaqs that someone redid all battles (in order) at the colliseum and it fixed itself. not sure if it's true, but it is certainly worth a shot.

I don't know about the rest of you, but personally I thought having wiseman be the final boss was a great touch. After having the final boss of the first game being a total copout, this was great. Wiseman in my opinion was the true evil in these games. While Malpercio was considered greater, Malpercio only came to be because of him.

This is probably the hardest game I've ever played. It was hard to get used to the battle system, it changed so much from the first.

@VashFanboy1 Personally I found the battle system to be easier then the first. I guess people find different games harder. While by no means pathetically easy, I found the first game much harder (particular battles really stand out) and I found the overall difficulty par for the course, if not a little bit easier.

Is it just me, or did anyone else find it very interesting the way Wiseman's power (the power of the heart), which is typically put forwards as the ultimate means to triumph over evil in most RPG's, was used as an evil power in this game? That's one of the best things about the storyline in this game, it's supremely unconventional, yet told so very well.

The voice acting in this game is INFINITELY superior to the voice acting in the first one. Wiseman's voice is just the greatest villain voice ever, and Guillo was voiced by the guy that also played as Kratos in God of War...really strange to listen to after playing God of War, but great nonetheless.

This is truly a masterpiece for the GC. The first game release was a true remarkable discovery and the origins just proves that these are the greatest rpg developpers for the GC. Thumbs up for your vids btw! =)

but just think about it, they came back to the earth after 1000 years, there is actually a lot to do, the only part of the earth we know is Duhr, but we are talking about a whole planet if they make a sequel to the first game's story.

I got a quick question storyline wise about this part. Did Wiseman's spirit just randomly show up to possess Verus's dead corpse or was Verus actually reincarnated form of Wiseman who manipulated even the events that led to this? I know its a dumb question, this was the only part that left me stump story wise.

I think Wiseman might have been manipulating Verus for his own bidding, and following his defeat took hold of him in order to carry out his goals himself.

I think it was because the Afterlings' power was used to control them (Hence why there were four of the tentacles).

I think the afterlings in those machines helped Sagi out since Sagi has an afterling within him.

@omegaevolution Ar was sealed in Sadal Suud. If you notice when the Magnus is unsealed, a bunch of golden birds come out of the ground, the same birds that Sagi's wings are based on. ;)
