bahamut also got his assed kicked by the autosummons of FF8 and by eden summon FF8 and knights of the round FF7... wasnt in FF10 i dont think.... but anima still kicked his ass anyways... ff12 same i dont remember.... and ff13 he looked like a shitty elephant...with a human torso... so i nvr used him..... but i only found using summons useful in FF7 - FF10 .... in fact... there is always 1 summon u can get always better then bahamut lol

A guy named Zidane who works as a thief for the theatre group "Tantalus". one day he and his friends are on a mission to kidnap the princess of alexandria but things go the fuck to hell. what starts as a cute fairy tale ends up as a thriller with great characters and music. graphics were also great for being on playstation 1. you should play it, you won't regret it, unless a magic gaming fairy comes out of your console and gives you 8-bit cancer. to me it's the best game evar.

Bahamut is the oldest, not the strongest. did you know that he is in Final Fantasy I? It's true, I have FF I&II (origins to PS1), VI, VII, VIII, IX and X. I have all the FF games to be released in europe to PS1. gotta say, I'm pretty proud of myself, I am.

IX is without doubt the best game ever thoug... It was rated the 12th best game from the 2000-2009, y'know. And not many of the judges had played it! It was higher on the list than WOW and Gears of War! I love it!

Demi/Gravity, Physical attacks, Rape-sword, Other summons, regen, auto-life? almost what I needed in VIII. first FF game I played was X so I realised whilst playing VII that one should almost NEVER run from a battle. I also noticed it in VI and other FF games.

I never beat Iv. Want it on SNES instead. sure, If the remake was to PS3 i'd buy it but... Fucking DS... don't get me wrong, it's a good console but FF should be on PS IMO

@apapalonglong It started on Nintendo though, the reason they made the jump to PSX was because the hardware in Sony platforms is the best on the market. They were going to have FF on N64 they were even tech demos of it but they decided to go with Sony. Good choice though.

It is the Eidolon that Kuja is desperately seeking so he can overthrow Garland and become ruler of both Gaia and Terra. Alexander can only be summoned when there is a dire emergency, and all four pieces of the Crystal are gathered. Princess Garnet and Eiko Carol summoned it together when Kuja attacked Alexandria with Bahamut. Alexander defeated Bahamut easily with a flurry of holy light.

So basically, its another Eidolon that is actually a spirit in the castle summoned to protect it.

Necron, He's not a god actually, hes the true form of the Ifa Tree who wants to destroy everything based on the actions of Kuja. You fighting that well against him just to survive changes his opinion and he doesn't. I THINK thats how it goes.

Everyone says Necron was disapointing because he seemed to just appear from nowhere but Garland did tell Zidane that what they saw was just the material form of the Iifa Tree and that it still functions as Soul Divider. Necron is the Iifa Tree's true form. Just goes to show that the fans weren't paying attention.

In my case, necron was disapointing because he was the easiest of all bosses, since you have regen.

his attacks which took all your hp had like... 30 seconds or something, which made it hella easy... good game though :)

Actually, If you don't mind a cheap shot at a boss, the Soul Cage is the easiest boss in the game, as a simple Phoenix Down kills him.
