The PZ spitfire is a great scale looking bird in the air, just not up close! Had to move the under wing roundels outwards to the tips of the wings because it looked so awful stock! Also, this plane is seriously underpowered and outdated. No wonder HH discontinued it. A real joy to fly though, the best step up from a trainer to ailerons in my opinion. Can't wait for HH to bring out the new version!
Thanks for the reply :)..i am thinking about doing the ESC and receiver swap also...i am looking at a castle creation brushed esc and ar-6200 to use with my dx6i.
Hi Wolfvoodoo I think I will be using the 11.1v 1800 Lipo for this bird. You can go bigger but I will be getting the P-51 and BF109 E that I will have the bigger lipos in and they are both brushless. Thanks for subscribing.
Also, make sure to do your checks after changing remotes, you probably know this already. Right aileron stick right aileron goes up, left down etc. Down on elevator stick elevator travels up. cheers mate
Hey Steve great looking plane! I should take some lessons in a proper unboxing vid from you... with my hellcat I just sort of pushed the things around in the box, lol. Also good choice with the brushed speed controller instead of going brushless just yet. Now you might not have balance issues to sort out like me! Looking forward to the maiden vid!
