  • Proof is in the history pages already. Want to see how obamacare will affect the u.s?? Go check out canada and the uk. People there will tell you the shit doesnt work.

  • Latourette is going to be in the hotseat now, his party will outsource all of our jobs to Dubai, because they GOP is the party of big business,

  • @viletree Why are jobs outsourced? High taxation. Why high taxation? Spending levels inposed by the Democrats. If you make if un-profitable to 'setup shop' here, then they wont do it. You have to make a profit motive. Its not evil, its the way society/business works. If you really want to create jobs, cut taxes across the board and reduce spending to allow certainty back into the economy.

  • To the Minority, Opposition to the Majority will always be regarded as truth regardless of Fact.

  • @DigitalArtsSociety in in money markets or in simple growth funds. They would have over 5.6 MILLION dollars in the bank. I'm talking about what they have been TAXED FOR THESE BULLSHIT BANKRUPT GOVERNMENT FDR MONUMENTAL FAILURES. They would have more than enough for anything they needed. And quality care THEY could pay for directly. No taxes on income, inheritance, credit card payoffs as income (total bullshit), nor capital gains. Government should get money on consumption tax. THAT'S IT!!!!!

  • There have been multiple major fights for healthcare in the last 70 years. Republicans have always Opposed. Republicans have Held the Majority multiple times in those last 70 years, They have never attempted it.

This guy is full of it. He Bitches about cutting 500 billion out of Government Run Medicare(republicans are supposed to be against it afterall Medicare is a Democratic Accomplishment), and talks about TORT reform as some Healthcare reform holy grail.

  • @DigitalArtsSociety Medicare is BULLSHIT. My mother is going to be DEAD in less than a month due to the system. It is an FDR nightmare. I and republicans have an idea. STAY OUT OF OUR POCKETS. Let us work all of our lives. The government doesn't get to oversee our retirement with the farce SS. It doesn't get to oversee our healthcare in old age Medicare BS. We keep our money. Invest it. I did a mock up if my mother and father were not taxed all their lives and instead invested.... PART 1

  • 0bama's Health Care Legislation, Will it hurt America's populous. . . ? US view point's must be spoken! Come to my profile page and learn more!

  • What's sad is how terrible the oratory is in the House. wtf is waaah? what an idiot.

  • Perfect. This is the TRUTH and the FACTS liberal. YOU don't have the heart of American behind ANY thing you do!!!!

'We The People' have finally woke up to the Democrazis agenda of destroying America as we know it. They have to give votes to illegals, they have to give money to the poor, they have to lie, they have to cheat, they have to prostitute their votes, and the media STILL does not report just how corrupt our government is. Well, November we will vote EVERY out.

  • a higher % of democrats in congress voted no in the healthcare bill than the % of republicans that voted yes

    thats really ironic

  • Umm...ok. lol. IF you say so.

  • Is the 4% profit figure arrived at before or after CEO salaries, stock options and other bonuses are paid to the companies honchos? Where did that 4% profit figure come from anyway?

  • The current Democratic Party leadership is tainted by corruption, and the liberals among us are supporting Socialists with their agendas based on implementing Fascist, Marxist and Communist political doctrines into our own government. These Socialists are clearly a threat to everything we hold sacred in America, and they are gaining evermore control over our Democratic Party, our Nation, and the American people.

  • You mean those thieving insurance companies that make a whopping 4% profit under the current conditions? Reform would be nice, but not reform that costs us more than it gives us.

  • You know, I'm a lib, and this guy sounds like someone who should piss me off, but for some reason, he doesn't. And I think that's because he has a point. (Or at least an interesting argument.) They certainly aren't "powerless," but the Repubs CAN'T do a whole lot in Congress right now.

  • AIG has been bailed out too, and is an insurance company. Ever thought on that one? >>>government run>>>goverment funds>>government trying to control wages>>>hmmm.

  • #1 doesn't bother me

#2 Probably because 500 govt workers (mostly outstanding ones) were let go the first year they introduced hair testing

#3 This is bad news for criminals, not for me:)

  • Grayson is an ass clown.

LaTourette is an effective congressman from my district and he has been getting elected in his district (mine) for as long as I can remember. He's not afraid to get up there and argue for what he believes in and he listens to his constituents.

He was quite helpful with us iraq vets and really took care of our local vets who were killed and wounded in pushing through memorials and going to bat for them and their families. He enjoys comfort foods and beer 2 as u can see

  • Arvy have you read the actual research on the supposed 45000 people that die from lack of health insurance? It's a big lie. They interviewed some people, whittled it down to 9004, checked later the percent that died,3.3, calculated with statistics against our current census, and PREDICTED 45000 will die from lack of insurance. They did not check to see if they got insurance after the interview, or how they actually died. Read it. Harvard study.

  • MissMoxie...WHY would ANYONE want to be like Grayson?????

  • LOOOOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    waaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Damn, called those libtards out like bitches.

  • hit the nail on the head.

  • wait didnt the public option just get passed recently?

  • This guy is spot on. Now we get to see the radical left implode the Democrat Party.

  • I might move to Ohio so I can vote for this guy.

  • Ditto.

  • Search for "CIA DEBT LIE"

  • OMG I love this guy. I am so voting for him again next year.

  • i once went to a bar. i ended up with some dude i didnt even know. i think ill skip the bar next time

  • *Kucinich* LaTourette? *Grayson*

  • Ahhhhh THE TRUTH!!! Thanks for the post.

  • This guy is as worthless as the people he is complaining about.

  • You're just mad because he speaks the truth.

  • Actually, I can think of two proposals the GOP has offered on health care. Can you name them or have you been reading just Daily Kos?

  • Deviant is a good name for moronic twits like you. Sorry if your brains can't handle simple logic. Good proposals are not necessarily adopted by an evil democrat majority you assinine fool. You want to debate the facts? One good Republican proposal is cross state competition for insurance companies. It is a good idea, but your damned idiot democrats are too busy greasing their own palms so they don't even want to discuss it.

  • The dems like other people's money. I used to watch them get paid off.

  • I see Social Deviant is now backing off her previous line where she said: "Your party has no solutions/"

Again, I can name two and you can't name any because you don't know, yet you're spouting off here as if you do know something.

I think Social needs to get away from the idiot box for a while and read a book.

Again, can you name those two proposals or are you conceding the point?

  • You are good at pretending. Too bad this isn't kindergarten. I'm a guy and I'm sure I read far more than you. I don't have time to troll around youtube as a "kookdectector".

Funny how the "kookdetector" doesn't detect itself. You think it would be sounding the alarm constantly for a case like yours.

  • Deviant is now totally avoiding the original point. He said: "Your mad because your party has no solutions" indicating that he *thought* the GOP had offered no alternatives.

I know of at least two, he doesn't know of any because he gets his "news" from who knows where?

Either Deviant was lying or he's not too bright. We will let the viewers of this vid decide.

  • Just because I'm not a Democrat doesn't mean I'm a Republican.

    Idiot.

  • lol, yes democrats are fighting over the details, but no matter what bill the democrats propose, the republicans won't back it. if the democrats reform healthcare and improve American lives, the republicans will lose another election. it's all about staying in power, not actual progress.

  • He failed to mention what his party plans to do.

  • WFW

  • You had 8 years to do something about healthcare and all you did was get us into a war we can't get out of and line the pockets of Haliburton.

  • The argument isn't about healthcare. It's about who pays for it.

If you think Haliburton is such a profit maker, invest in their stock. It's readily available for purchase.

  • You're my hero, beatledawg2.

  • He's right because there are a lot of Dems in the pockets of insurance and pharma corporations that are given a lot of moolah to not get the public uption (much less single payer) passed. You can't expect much from Repubs on this issue but it's a shame there are so many Dem sell-outs.

  • LMAO well said

  • Crooks regulating criminals at Our expense;

that's the Only reason it's all so intense

    Just take it from the people,they won't know;

three hundred million idiots, that's a lot of dough

Lie,steal, cheat and promise;without any real volition

That's what it takes to be a politician

    Congress,Senators and,ya- the President too

they all could give a damn less, about me or you

Next time I'll vote Independent, who ever it may be

at least it will be; the least worst, of the three

  • Republicans have plans, those plans just doesn't jive with the socalist plans of Obama, Pelosi and Reid.

  • care to elaborate on what those plans are for health care?

  • Yeah, I see Americans by the droves going to Canada, England and Cuba to get on their socialized medical programs. If it isn't obvious that this isn't a power grab by the leftys, then nothing else is.

  • Maybe the Republicans should come up with some solutions once in a while, rather than just point out problems with what the other side wants to do.

  • Just because Botox Lady and The Messiah told you there's no Republican plans, that doesn't necessarily make it so. Here's just a sample:

    H.R. 2520; H.R. 2607; H.R. 2692; H.R. 2784; H.R. 2785; H.R. 2786; H.R. 2787; H.R. 3141; H.R. 3217; H.R. 3218; H.R. 3356; H.R. 3372; H.R. 3400; H.R. 3438; H.R. 3454; and H.R. 3478.

  • your name is definitely fitting. The Republicans have plenty of plans and solutions, Oblahblah just doesn't want to hear them because they aren't in line with his Socialist takeover.

  • lol where are these plans?

  • Merkavah posted them below, the point is the Republicans could have the answer in one of the many proposals they have made, yet since Obama doesn not care bipartisanship (another one of his lies) he doesn't even consider anyones plans but his and those of his far left liberal party members.

  • hilarious stuff

  • HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Thank you, Congressman! Keep up your good work and do not back down! The dems are only good at following their leader by blaming on the other side when it comes to their incompetence!

  • "They can't even get their own team to row the boat, but they want to say Republicans don't want to reform healtcare! Waaaaaaaah!"

  • I LOVE IT!!!!!

    THANK YOU CONGRESSMAN!

  • It is pretty pitiful actually. Democrats are crying as if Republicans control congress and are preventing them from passing socialist health care.

  • holy shit, someone who actually speaks the truth and the people fall lock step into government taking control over everything.....what happened to this country?

  • what happened to this country is that somewhere along the line the people began to believe they were entitled to the fruits of someone else's labor, and they learned they could use the government as an instrument of plunder to do what they can not do legally themselves.

  • They are thieves and found a way to make theft legal. With the "appeal to the emotions" fallacy argument to try to make people who want to feed their own kids feel bad for wanting to feed their own kids instead of giving all the money to a rich conman so that another conman could be lazy. One big rip off. Charity cannot be mandated. That's not charity. It's theft.

  • Republican party = Democratic party 20 years ago

    Democrat party = communism

    We are so screwed!

  • Democrats have beens saying that Republicans don't have any ideas or that the ideas they have have runied the country. So if Democrats truly believe that Republicans have bad ideas and their ideas are destructive, why would Democrats want Republicans ideas? Let get real. Democrats don't want Republicans ideas, they want Republicans to go along with what Democrats want and thats it. Call a spade a spade.

  • BRAVO!!!!! BRAVO!!!! 10 STARS!!!!!

  • Well said La Torurette

  • Democrats..WAAAA!

  • have you heard about this guy?

    /watch?v=WSU6rlEhtto

  • This guy usually says "OINK OINK OINK".

  • so does ur mum, fag

  • Even the democrats are starting to see pass the glitz and glamor of Obama.

Even the media is starting to turn.

  • They should have seen through the smoke and mirrors months ago.

  • Too bad this guy is completely unfamiliar with the fact that though a majority works in the House, it does not work in the Senate. He also seems to think this diatribe is a good use of time, why isn't he busy writing that bill to protect doctors from lawsuits? Why wasn't such a bill passed during the last twelve years while republicans have been whining about it?

  • too bad he's not even talking about the senate. the bill hasn't even been scored by the CBO yet.

  • He is right on target !!

  • Glokenspiel;

Yeah we want some one to blame for our potential failure just like you guys want someone to blame for a disastrous war and total fuck up of the economy!

  • Odumba is destroying the economy dude.......he is spending us into oblivion......watch next week as the Republicans take the Virginia and NJ Governors races.....and District 23 in NY.....People are terrified about Odumba

  • is this his mating call

    waaaaaaaaaa

  • Hi there Razortine

    waaaaaa

  • Razortine do you feel the call?

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    waaaa?

  • Great job Steve democrats are a bunch of whiners. The fact is the dems what a bipartisan health care bill because when the tax payers find out how bad this bill is and how it will give us all poor health care the dems want to say it wasnt all us the Republicans voted for it to blame them.

  • This video = truth.

    In other news... ROFL.

  • Kucinich AND LaTourette...

  • Actually, he's right on a few points here. Democrats are concerned with getting a bipartisan bill, but Republicans never worry about that. They ram through legislation when they are in power, but then demonize Democrats for threatening to do it when they are in power. The Republicans are much better at negative PR than Democrats are at positive PR, and it's a strategy that has traditionally worked well for them.

  • The democrats are interested in bipartisanship on the health care bill? Is that why hr 3200 (the first house health care bill) did not have one single republican involved in its crafting? This latest bill is no better. It is a pure Pelosi and cronies POS bill. Both sides are artful at the negative PR.

  • OK, let me rephrase that. The Democrats are afraid that if the bill doesn't have the whiff of bipartisanship about it, then if things go south they will fall out of power. It's one thing that Democrats and Republicans have in common, the fear of losing power. In the meantime, those of us who actually make this country run are squeezed further. We need to lose the lot of these clowns and start over with folks who are NOT politicians...and impose term limits.

  • Amen to that Mark. One reason I liked Fred Thompson was during his Senate tenure, he tried to limit Senators to two terms and House members to three.

Term limits wouldn't solve all problems, but it would get rid of a lot of people who use their committee chairmanships to dole out favors to campaign donors (Former Sen. Stevens comes to mind).

  • It's weird. You'd think that a position to serve the public, which is traditional supposed to be selfless, wouldn't want to be done by many and for so long. There is obvious self interest. Don't understand why people don't look at congress with this filter.

  • The only reason the Founders didn't put in term limits was because at that time, nobody wanted to be a career politician.

If they had a time machine and went to the present time they'd come back and demand that all members of Congress be term-limited.

  • Medical is the same whay, Jam. As long as there is something of an incentive, people stay in it. But when that incentive is gone, many leave it, or find another area in it that offers those incentives. Nurses don't become nurses because they are only do-gooders that sit at home twiddling fingers. They need a JOB! When that job causes harm, like back injuries, does not pay well, or the stress it too much, they quit, or go into another area of it, like administration, education, etc.

  • YOu said it well, Mark.

  • HI MARK ROSENGARTEN!

  • As an Ohioan, I thank South Carolina, Georgia, and Texas for making our terrible contributions of wingnuts and a-holes to society, people like "Joe" the "Plumber," John Boehner, Jean Schmidt, Ken Blackwell, Jim Traficant, and LaTourette's, seem not-so-bad.

  • I can't believe a grown man, much less a legislator, would get up in public and embarrass himself like that -- first, by getting his "facts" completely wrong and second, by making stupid noises.

  • vchele,

Facts are actually right. Care to argue some facts, dummy?

  • What facts would those be?

  • Seriously what do the opposition party get paid for if not to come up with lame humor on our dime.

Its about as funny as running the country into the ground, starting two wars with no end in sight and fucking underaged pages while screaming family values.

Hows that for a joke? Mr. LaTourretes (R-cockgobbler,OH)

  • Hey, lay offa LaTourettes!! Hes disabled!! Hes not making fun of Democratic whining, the guys got French Tourettes, for chrissakes!! Its an uncontrollable outburst. Ive got it, I should know and it aint funny at all.

Congressman Fuckface!! Hate you!! Piggy piggy!! Fatty Republican. Fuck! Fuck!! Fuck you!!!

    See?? Cant control it!

  • sweet jeebus, what a typical Repig douchebag and liar...assholes like this prick are the reason why the Repigs are sure to be the party of hypocritical, angry, white, racist, xenophobic, homophobic, phony 'christians' for many years to come...at least the mo-ran can legitimately claim to have LaTourette's syndrome!

  • Just excellent! Finally someone calling these whiney little bitches out for what they are! We want to give away free crap to get votes and no one will let us WAHH! The loser Marxists in this country demand their free stuff and if we don't give away the obamabucks we can't get voted back in WAHH! Oh wait, we still have Acorn not being defunded to steal the votes of hardworking Americans like this is a 3rd world country right? CALL THESE SCUMBAGS OUT!

  • excellent kittynono...wait til we have the criminals at Halliburton and Blackwater DE-FUNDED, then maybe we can take our cuntry back from the corporate welfare whores whose repiggy little SCUMBAGS you seem to love sucking on! now scoot on back to your litter box little kitty...no more mo-ran comments for you tonight!

  • oneirishpoet,

I think the poet in your name says it all. Halliburton, really? We still doing that? Let us stay on task. The bama is president now and he is a rogue president, let's deal with that. You are about a month or so behind. You missed the whole let's blame the racists, no let's blame the capitalists, no let's blame the health insurance companies, no let's blame Fox News. Now that you're up to speed, why don't you at least try a current one. Christ, next it will be Katrina.

  • I do not understand why its so hard for these so called Christians to pass this health care bill,

but apparently buying stuff is more important then looking out for your fellow man.

  • You don't understand? I already pay 65% of my hard earned income in taxes. I work over 60 hours a week. Should I give my government and my "fellow man" my whole paycheck and live in a fucking cardboard box?

  • no Nickkk you prickkk, you should try using the few working brain cells you have ti understand that insurance companies are FUCKING you every day of your miserable life, mo-ran!

  • oneirishpoet- Hey stupid get off the booze

  • It's about time someone called out the Democrats for what they are.

  • Another Republican Private Health Care Whore. That's all.

  • As opposed to the Democrats who have ties to the very insurance companies they attack, including Nancy Pelosi.

  • This guy suffers to much from LaTourette's syndrome -- wah!

  • It truly is remarkable that Boehner thinks this blowhard adds anything to the discussion and would put it up. This clip says far more about Boehner and his leadership than it does anything else. "We have nothing, and have had nothing for years....so go make playground taunts at the mic up front for awhile. That'll show 'em we mean business fixing health care".

  • Comment removed

  • But, sine BIG LAW is on the side of the Dems and their PAC's, there will never be a Dem initiated plan that goes after their biggest contributors. Besides, Health insurance industry rakes in a rapingly high 2.2% gross profit margin, yet trial lawyers rake in 14%. who is it that's a bad bad bad industry? But if there is Tort reform, limiting useless lawsuits, how are you leeches on our society ever supposed to be successful? LOL...Go back to your mom's basement.

  • the Multiple Republican Health reform bills are pigeon holed in Charlie Rangel's Appropriations commitee, and have been sitting there dormant since they were proposed in MAY. The Dems do not want anyone to know that there is a dissenting, intelligent recourse to the proposed plan. We want Tort Reform, limiting frivilous lawsuits, and inter-state competition with insurance plans. Having lived in many states, I know that different states have different costs. if u buy on the internet to save,.....

  • Oh, then you'd be able to produce some links that would discuss these multiple Republican health reform bills if they exist. I find it hard to believe that John Boehner, showboater extraordinaire, could keep that under his hat. So, got links?

  • The same Charlie Rangel that writes the tax code, but won't pay his own taxes.

  • he should be saying "OINK OINK OINK" . That's the sound of the Repubs.

  • The sound of the Dems: Bitch, Bitch, Bitch, Wah, Wah, Wah.

  • Can someone please ask Rep. LaTourette for the bill number of the Republican health care reform bill?

  • Hes right to an extent...

the problem is there is a minority of democrats that are just as corrupt as all the republicans...

he forgot to mention that though...while he was making crying noises...

  • Baby noises in the chamber. Classy...

    What's next, name calling?

  • No, that was before, with the dickocrat alan.

  • Name calling right on que. The ghost of Joe Wilson I presume?

  • Comment removed

  • The Private Insurers use 30% of premiums just for administration of the plan whereas Medicare uses only 3% and Canada,1.7%.

If you take the 2.5 Trillion Private plans cost Americans and dived it by the 305 Americans, you could have a private doctor for every 7 Americans and pay the doctors 250,000 a year!

they waste and rip off our money.

  • "a private doctor for every 7 Americans and pay the doctors 250,000 a year!"

    1. There aren't that many doctors, and

    2. If you paid them that little not many people would invest 8 or so years of their lives in becoming one, (remember, they also have to pay their staff out of that income).

  • not to mention paying for the hospital, nurses, other administrative staff at the hospital, janitors, maintenance people, equipment for the hospital, there is more to the cost of healthcare than just doctors

  • Joe Wilson, Steve LaTourette, now who will be the next Republican or Conservative with some balls? Speak up.

That's our new rallying call. SPEAK UP.

Speak up for average Americans. Speak up for the silent majority. Speak up for tradition.

  • Where do I have to move to so I can vote for this guy??? :)

  • Ohio :]

  • retardville...i think its somewhere in Hannitys America

  • Their plan is if you don't have insurance, then please die quickly.

Die,die, die. That is their plan for you.

  • No it isn't . The left in Washington wants a total government run healthcare system and will say anything to get it. You can go on gop sight and see their proposals. Which I think don't do eneough to get Government out of healthcare create a real free market system and let consumers truly drive prices.

Before medicare/medicare and Gov. involvment in our healthcare system prices where very reasonable. They are the problem and these plans expand the problem but fix nothing.

  • Thank you for posting....

    WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • Brilliant speech by Mr. LaTourette. Thanks, Leader Boehner, for posting it.

  • well this is the funniest and most striking thing that's come out of a Republican's mouth in a long time

  • Why is this guy whining so much?

  • VOTERS **STILL** TRUST REPUBLICANS MORE THAN DEMOCRATS on all 10 key electoral issues! 46% to 40% on HEALTH CARE!!!! 50% to 35% on TAXES!!!! 49% to 35% on the Economy 54% to 35% on National Security 50% to 31% on Iraq 45% to 37% on Social Security 43% to 38% on Education 47% to 35% on Abortion 42% would vote for Republican congressional candidate while 37% would for his or her Democratic opponent!
  • Rep. Steve LaTourette is RIGHT!!!

Democrats are NOW the party of...

    "Whaaaa, Whaaaa, Whaaaa"!

  • Obama is a closet communist and the first thing communists do when they get in power is to try and install universal health care.

  • I wonder if Chris Mathews will invite him on his show and have a good natured chat with him like he did with Rep. Grayson from FL.

  • Those "young" are you.

  • Excuse me but it was the Republican who tried to put a stop to the lending by fannie and freddie. The house majority Dems wouldn't went waaaaaa but all people should be able to buy a house even if they can't afford it. Hence the fall of the housing market and the chain reaction of banks because the Dems go waaaaa

  • They are all culpable on that issue. This issue is healthcare.

The Republicans sat on their fat butts for 8 years and watched Bush/Cheney ruin our economy, invade a sovereign nation, usurp our Constitution and did nothing. They still do nothing.

All they care about is the lobbyist money they get and trying to hold on to their position.

We, the people, have diminished them and will finish the job next year. The GOP is done.

  • OMG your first paragraph fits exactly what the Obama administration is continuing by leaps and bounds. This administration has spent more in 10 months then Bush did in 8 years. This administration is testing the Constitution with every issue. Obama is quoted as saying the civil rights movement didn't do enough for the distribution of wealth which he believes in and will break America. You want real change Vote them all out in 2010-2012. Get out the bought and payed for lifers.

  • You've been watching too much Glenn Beck....

You have no clue what you are trying to talk about.

    I'll just ignore you, child.

  • democrats=victims WAAAAAAAA

  • Uh oh! How dare someone defy the glorious democrats! LaTourette is a THOUGHT CRIMINAL!!!

  • Brevity is the soul of wit.

  • Screw you Paulbot!

  • fretbuzz59 shows that once again it is the left who are the most uninformed and stupid of American citizens.

The facts are that many Republicans have initiate some reforms, but the communist far-left idiots who have taken over the Democrat party do NOT want reform, they want the "glorious" marxist takeover of America which is dependent on controlling healthcare, you fool.

Why are YOU following a group of people who are lost in the 40 year old completely discredited politics of communism?

  • Isn't it time for the paid loser brigade from the left to show up and enlighten everyone?
