@ketherga Mostly because people who say Yahtzee is their fav critic, or the funnist is mostly someone who does not really have a broad sense of humor, not a person who thinks, sees brash things as something very funny. This is usually children due to not maturing yet and not actually seeing other forms of comady and/or not being mature enough to give it a real chance. Or it can be just people who, for lack of a more pleasing word, is just silly.

@ketherga Do not get me wrong, I liked Yahtzee before when he was actually creative with what he said, and even then he was not the funnist, just a few laughs from me and thats it, now he does not have any passion for it anymore and just swears and just says the games are shit...thats it. Its like saying Dane Cook is the funnist stand up comic...when all he is doing is dangling keys in front of you. Yahtzee does that verbally. Heck some of my fav humor is very goofy but at least as substance.

Yhatzee's humor is, by and large, very dry and satirical in nature. It doesn't surprise me that you might miss the subtleties of his comedy especially as his style has become more complex and professional. However, he honestly doesn't swear that much, and, by his own words, he is a praises by exception. Anything he doesn't mention is good.

I always loved watching Siskel & Ebert's reviews on Saturdays.

Even when they gave 2 thumbs up to a movie that I hated, or two thumbs-down to a movie that I loved.

They were pretty funny.

Then Siskel died, and the show became "Ebert & Roper".

I was never crazy about Roper.

Then Ebert left, and it became "Roper & (whoever)".

Then of course, the show was cancelled.
