  • Is this off a DVD i can buy?

  • yes and it is worth the investment. this is one of the best live concerts i have ever seen.

  • Ask yourself, who would have the lyrical, musical, oratorical, and thespianical skills to carry a tune the way this man does? Not I sir, not you sir. Simply genius.

  • OMG I've just understood he sings "fa fa fa fa...far better" A thousand years ago, when I heard this song for the first time, I guessed he sang this part as if he were crackeling... and I've been more than 20 years crackeling this part too, like if I were a mad hen!!! Oops! Apart from this he's one of my favourite singers, always different and original. Please could anyone be so kind to upload "Independence day" from "Rei Momo"? Thanks in advance!!

  • woooow my boyfriend go crazy for this band!!

  • who cares¿

  • :) awesome!!

  • Search "euforquestra stop making sense halloween 2006" for footage of a band re-creating this show. Costumed and choreographed and everything...

  • I think this version is actually better than the original record. Talking Heads were my first musical obsession. David Byrne was god to me when I was 14 and I used to watch "Stop Making Sense" and "Storytelling Giant" religiously. This is as brilliant now as it was then. True originals.

  • Well said, i agree it's better then the original, i remember playing this tune to death in the 80's... fooking awesome tune

  • David Byrne is Amazing! Possisbly the finest musician I've ever heard!

He went to the Rhode Island School of Design.

    Awewsome.

  • "say something once... whys say it again?"

  • ah, just to see into his mind for 5 minutes.

    He's brilliant.

  • Stop the clocks was a clocks shop that, fortunately, has closed the clappers in order to go to an unhappy oasis in the desert.

Stop Making Sense (directed by Jonathan Demme!) is one of the greatest concert movie of all time. It features their best songs and many of these were higly influenced by the collaboration with the Master Brian Eno.

They have just the "STOP" word in common and there are no other comparisons that can be made!

Thanks a lot for sharing this awesome movie w/ us!

  • love da song!!!!I'm going to get this on my ipod. my sister has The Talking Heads live video

  • What an awesome concert, saw the movie.

He's such a funny guy, that David Byrne.
