does anyone know how to get ahold of nelson pigford im an old friend from the 80s and would love to catch up with him. he helped me with a job in beverly hills at a lawyer out fit called finley kumball they were the attorneys for marvin gay and the jackson five my name is Jon and im from cleveland ohio. contact me at storeysoil@yahoo.com
One of the reasons that Rocky and this theme resonated so much in '76 was that the entire country kind of felt like the underdog. Tough times, especially in cities like Philly, Cleveland, New York.
yea this song inspires me 2, i was planning on training hard tog et ready for football season, till i break my collarbone, which happened yesterday, now i lost all my self esteem and feel like curling up in a ball and going to sleep, it sux so bad, this song would pumpme up and make me feel good, it still does, but i wont be able to play or exercise normally
WAWW !!!!!! se me eriza la piel con cada tema de bill conti, rememoro la impecable historia de ROCKY , mis respetos al sr. Stallone, genio creador de esta historia.
Sorry for taking forever to respond. The flipside is something called "You Take My Heart Away" with vocals by DeEtta Little and Nelson Pigford, apparently also on the Rocky soundtrack.
I respectfully disagree. This song was made in a time when mono was the way they did things. It's very apparent in the movie version; the mono mix is much better. The separate elements stand out too much in the stereo version. It was mixed specifically to sound it's best in mono.
That makes no difference. If the version in the movie was mono, that means that it was recorded in both mono and stereo and this is still the stereo version, just in mono.
AWESOME !!!

Hit #1 pop, #20 pop in Billboard. Hey, ns0710, why so prim and proper? 'Gonna' is perfectly acceptable in the English vernacular. God bless!

I was going to say no way this was vinyl...but it is!! WOW. I can barely hear any crackles. Rarely used record?
ns0710 3 years ago
I've maybe played this record 4 times in the year I've had it. I can't speak for its previous owners.

@VinylToVideo Crackles? Rubbish. I play my vinyls on vintage '50s equipment, and no crackles.
And that is with both vintage records and new pressings.
