I have a question, though, about respecting others. I think I respect others in most cases. But a coworker of mine, I believe, deserves little respect. He has earned the opposite through his hurtful, apathetic actions!

I usually leave him alone. Say nothing to him, interact little. I don't like him, but I am not combative with him, usually. Why should I give him respect as well? I am confused.
