  • Kadhafi is now playing tablas...

  • :)

  • This is so great, the whole performance rings a bell in me.. Many thanks for the post.

  • Love the fusion! Wonderful to see the amazing Tabla player...I've seen him in various videos. Anyone know his name?

  • @squiddyjoan the tabla player is zakir hussain, and he's truly a virtuoso. i've had the pleasure of seeing him live, and he was absolutely magnificent

  • Religion not withstanding, just outstanding buddy

  • YAWN!

  • I came to see why buckethead mentioned Bill Laswell as an influence.

What I see in this video is influences from india , which I highly approve of.

The problem is I'm anti vedic , because I believe that man can not make merrit by himself.

I'm a melchizedek and believe that Yahushua is the only path to merrit for man.

This does not mean I'm in opposition to india.

In fact I'm an india supporter because they don't want islam.

So I'm very pleased buckethead likes india as well.

  • @azkeyz you're a moron and quite ignorant.

india has like second most muslims in the world.

i feel the only way to salvation is through islam, but that doesn't mean i dont respect other religions.. mainly because thats what islam teaches me and humans. this music has nothing to do with religion.. as a matter of fact sultan khan and zakir hussain (both in the song) are muslim. laswell has always worked with these guys.

  • So does Laswell actually practice some form of Hinduism?

  • What is that violin like instrument that the singer is playing? And is that same instrument played at the ending of the song "Maggot Dream" by Buckethead? Strange question, I know..

  • @QuotidianHegemony .... Sarangi....

  • Such a sensitive, powerful, performance of true musical spirit.

  • Wonferful

  • so patient!! it is amazing how little restraint and patience there is in music but here, the timing is perfect.

  • Excellent! This is Superb! Brilliant!

  • very nice ! ですね.

  • AMAZING!!!!!!

  • c'est beau

  • I wish there was more stuff like this out there. I've heard some of this stuff by way of Buckethead, its really hard to appreciate this kind of stuff in a recorded context.

  • reminds me of jarre michell jean

  • well, not quite the same genre, however, the electronic background - yes spot on.

  • Love me some Bill Laswell.....always pushing the musical envelope. Ever since I got the Miles Davis Panthalassa mix translation CD back in 98, I have been hooked ever since.

  • EVER HEARD OF MELTING EUPHORIA? They are similar to Ozric Tentacles and Gong and Hawkwind.

  • damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • omg this is awesome. So much groove

  • excelente track¡¡¡ saludos desde Peru

  • WHY can't I just buy this vid off Amazon?

    "Axiom Sound System Musical Freezone"

searching on each or all these words...NOTHING.

Starpulse shows details of the original wtww broadcast..but no link to buy the DVD.

look...whomever has this...burn it and I'll send $10 to you and $10 to Laswell himself.....I GOTTA have this film.

  • i know there is a torrent out there somewhere check demonoid or thepiratebay i got it a while back ... it has the whole episode of the show

  • @jimbmxer MICHAEL TSARION IS THE WORLDS PREMIER CONSPIRACY RESEARCHER/LECTURER/AUTHOR. DR. BILL DEAGLE AND JORDAN MAXWELL ARE HIGHLY INFORMATIVE AS WELL. P.S. MELTING EUPHORIA IS A HOLISTIC PSYCHEDELIC PROG ROCK BAND THAT IS NOW DEFUNCT BUT HAS FOUR STUDIO CD'S AND ARE SIMILAR TO OZRIC TENTACLES AND GONG.

  • i love those tabla

  • do my speakers jst suck? i dont really hear any bass

  • @StructuralEngineer Сосни ху йца!

  • Hey Andy. What's yer problem?

    1. Speak English, ya bleeding muppet.

    2. I am not talking to you, you bleeding idiot. What's your problem?

    A. I am talking about some damaged speakers, all those who vote without any clue, proper idiots and bleeding muppets.

  • This is soooo sick!!

  • amazing............

  • Someone, please tell me what Ustad Sultan Khan says at the very beginning.

    That will be deeply appreciated.

  • Lyrics: Gori tore naina, kajre bina kare

Literal translation: Hey fair lady, your eyes, why they are black without kajra? (kajra - black soot used as eyeliner in subcontinent.)

    Original song: ?v=hE3jhtg3imI

  • Thank you wces423 !

  • so glad they didn't include bag pipes!

  • Love Biss Laswells Work with Icon ASHA♥Puthli

  • What makes this so great is everyone is a god in their own right, and then you have Zeus (Laswell) bring everyone together. And he's so humble just chillin' in the background while he plays the bass. Really killer, indeed!

  • Great comment. I fully agree. Bill Laswell is a whole chapter in a book about modern music. When you mention fusion, you mention Bill Laswell, right? Visionary. Although, Zakir is just a fantastic element here...

  • oh thanks so much for this !!!!!!

  • love the mix of the modern and the classical

  • Bill Laswell rocks!

  • all do such an awesome perofrmace. tru talents. tracks like this allow individuals to appreciate fine instruments and legendary musicians. awesome!

  • Isn't there just a bit too much going on at times here? I love Tabla but it often gets lost in the mix... Very impressive and creative! Bill Laswell is an outstanding producer, I love the Bob Marley remixes he's done
