for piques, make sure your shifting all you weight on the standing leg before you turn, that's why your falling to the opposite side and can't finish a complete turn
I noticed that you don't connect your passe when you do piques. I would start with fixing that. Just make sure you're trying your hardest and you'll keep improving! :)
I wanted to say it was a pleasure watching this video. I can see you have worked hard. Your arch is beautiful, your legs are nicely stretched, over the box well, balance is good, form and lines look nice. Having perfect turn out is not demanded to enjoy the art of dance, and to shine in what you love doing. Don't let any comments ever slow you down. :)
you really shouldnt tie ur knot on ur ankle bone that could hurt u and plus itz quite uncomfortable u need to tie ur knot not on ur inside ankle bone but behind it it helps and gives more stability but dont tie it on ur akeelys cuz that could harm ur akeelys im on pointe 2 and im not tryin 2 be mean just tryin 2 help ...hav fun nd be careful on the +side ur feet r beautiful!!!!
you have beautiful arches! pique turns took me quite awhile to get down, but i've gotten a lot better and i'm sure you will too! the only reason it was so hard for me was because i was afraid to fall. well i fell a few times, realized it didn't hurt that much, so it gave me more courage to just go for it! thanks for sharing your video!
With your piques, I would recommend that you either go for it, or don't. You kinda have like a coupe thing going on. Don't be afraid to just go for it. I fall a lot because I always go for it, but I learn from that. And do you have a soft shank? Maybe you should try something harder...But it definitely looks like it's coming along : )
turn out can't really wait. It is something you should have mastered on demi pointe. Turning out en pointe is much more difficult, because you usually use the floor to turn out. Now you have to turn out from the hips when you have such a little box to balance on! Good Luck and please take my advice! Great Arches!
If you want more balance, try putting your arms on your shoulders, or using your arms (secound for preperation, and first for turn) and keeping them round. Also, I have found that when you turn out, it makes everything easier. I'm still learning to, but that is what I have found! Happ Dancing!
It's funny someone should say that, because i wanted to say to you how happy it makes me seeing girls who can dance well that aren't skeletal. I am starting pointe soon and i don't want to get rid of the small amount of curves that i do have. It just shows you you can still be 'womanly' and a dancer. My hat goes off to you and i wish you the best with your dancing.
@TheShadowyNigh As strange as this may sound because the ballet world isn't really like that, I think it looks better to see women of an average size rather than extremely skinny. Considering I myself will never be that skinny, seeing ppl be that skinny is daunting. When I see people that skinny in ballet companies, it just gives me this thought that it's an impossible dream. I know there are companies out there with women of average size, but are they really know, are they noticed?
your a beautiful dancer i think but something that might help u with the piques is when u put ur leg out to go up on it keep it closer to ur body it will help u push away from the floor and ur not shifting ur weight so much so u will be able to balance better it helped me alot
When you are on demi, make sure to not go over on your pinky toes too much. Also hold your arms, it helps with your balance. I really think you are a fantastic ballet dancer though :) Good job. Keep working on it :)
Lovely arms, but when doing your turns, you have them slightly too high. Have your hands at approximately the level of your belly button. Keep up the good work!
PIQUE turns are VERY hard to master at first. BUT..I really LOVE those closer shots of those PINK POINTES turning on the floor...wow! They look SO sensual, dont you think?
You have nice feet but make sure your legs are always straight, there was alot of bending going on. Also, when you turn, control your arms. Keep up the good work though! =)
you have pretty feet btw

you need to strengthen your core. you're dancing from your feet, not from your core. huge problem.
