Hey, awesome video, I'm not familiar with Mt. Baldy or that area, is this an inbounds area of a ski area or no? It looks crazy, I would love to try it!
Baldy is in between the Snowbird and Alta ski resorts in little cottonwood canyon Utah, its not out of bounds per say but you do have to check in with ski patrol before going up there because of Avalanche concerns
Hey, i skiid dogsleg last month and to get to it, its about a 30-45 minute hike from the sugarloaf chair. I would say the hike is probably 2x more dangerous than the ski, but if you want an experience of a lifetime you gotta do it
ohhh man i really want to do baldy this season I probably would've already done it but i can never bring myself to go on that big of a hike. you should do it on a pow day, the snow looked a little thin there.
Yeah - sit half way down at a point were you see the horizon or the trees, then film them as they come down and get the shot as they pass you with the slope shown in the horizon or tree line. Make sure they don't ski near you but at least 10 feet away - best if they are across the chute from you. Damn, I look at my photos every day wanting to go back! I never skied on better snow in my life - Feb 2007 will go down in history there. Cheers.

Yeah, its hard to get a good gauge of pitch from a camcorder, do you have any advice for next time?
