  • welcome to fuckin U.S. and A.

  • People in China eat chicken feet and other things we would never eat here now that we do not need to. Just because something is not appetizing to us does not mean it is unhealthy.

  • the Chinese don't add shit to there food, they keep it fresh even chicken feet

  • Kids only eat what lazy, cheapskate, dimshit parents serve them. Get a cookbook.

  • i do think there's a group conformity effect. just look at them

  • What I find MOST interesting about this is the difference of children in different countries. That in the UK the children said no, but here they said yes.

Anyway, I pretty much just blame one child. The rest just followed after he put his hand up.

  • @RealPandemonium You are quite the idiot, aren't you.

  • Yeah this was disgusting.

  • I would be embarrassed as hell knowing my child went on T.V. and said they would eat this shit. xD

  • The kids are so honest.lol

  • I don't agree with all that Mr. Oliver is showcasing the kids, but equally disagree with the practices of mega corporations being less wholesome and honest of their products. All he is doing here is to condition these kids not to eat certain foods with no knowledge of other uses that goes on to making other foods (e.g. bones for stock, offals for stew bases ) instead he uses scare tactics not knowledge. Not too disgusting and have to admit like crispy pork rinds crispy chicken skin is bomb!

  • What's wrong with eating that stuff? Idk what the flavorings and stabilizers are but the rest of it is good chicken that would otherwise be thrown out and wasted.

  • @RealPandemonium yeah really good chicken ... so good that the kids even said ït must be thrown away" hahahahhaha 6 year old kids said that. nad here you are, saying its good meat. funny cuz if you being ironic ... how the fuck don't you know what stabilizers and flavorings are? fuckin idiot.

  • I disagree with this perception of food. eating McDonalds is unhealthy, but using a leftover Chicken carcass in your own home is totally different. It's all the same animal. In the West we have been programmed to believe that only certain parts are edible. Our grandparents used to eat the whole lot. I call using the whole animal being resourceful. Ask your grandparents what they did with these leftovers! Good luck everyone who throws their money in the bin!

  • All I can say is don't be surprised if you get cancer if you continue to eat garbage.

  • i go to macdonalds for the toys :)

  • but the nuggets taste so damn gewd

  • Mcdonalds is the worst of the worst imo. Pretty much everything on the menu is total processed CRAP! I wouldn't even get a salad there. It blows me away how popular it is especially with adults. I get the popularity with kids, but to truly love mcd's as an adult? To each their own I guess.

  • Nothing like hungry spoiled American kids...Fast food corporations are getting rich off them. You could grind up human feces, shape it into a nugget, bread it, fry it and someone will eat it. Apparently eating chemicals is okay with the FDA, but cancer patients wanting some pot brownies are denied? Amazing.

  • he proves, you can take hungry children, chop up and season chicken parts, cook chicken parts in front of children, and they will eat it. His "I'm so shocked" at the end was a little over the top.

Maybe the best parts of the chicken should have been prepared for the kids so they could have had a choice between eating crap or eating his culinary genius. Corporate line says "use unsuspecting children to sell how smart we really are on our high horse".

  • Chicken skin tastes good

  • 1:07 Lawl, he saild breast herp derp.

  • What was so terrible about the ingredients, other than that they were made to look gross?

Bone, skin, organs, and tiny bits of meat? Not sure what the problems is...

  • @bct2702 they put ammonia in it , But the part that is the worst in my opinion is that that actually tastes bad so fast food industries put artificial flavour. So that pink stuff is only for texture i reckon.

  • and that is why kids are sooo dam fat!

  • This is how healthy we're eating in America and still believe that this is good food.

  • Personally I don't see the problem with all the ingredients listed. Maybe alittle fattening but we can't eat salads all the time. The processed foods however will get you sick.

  • Jamie needs to remember 2 things: First, kids of that age (I have one) enjoy giving shocking answers. And second, most of them don't "get" why that's gross. Even though I wouldn't feed it to my kids....they see the finished product of my meals not the before & prep process. So they don't realize how gross it all is.....as long as it's edible in the end.

  • Jamie is so wasteful. If your're going to kill an animal and eat it, you might as well eat the whole body as a sign of respect.

  • LOL this dude got fucking demoralized.

  • the reason we eat bad stuff is because we're born into a world filled with addicting additives... MSG, and other flavanoid enhancers make you crave that food, just like the chemicals in cigarettes, ammonia, and propylene glycol help make the smoke smoother and mask the taste of the reconstituted tobacco....

  • bone marrow is good for you

  • SOYLENT CHICKEN IS PEOPLE.

  • @xdrew70 how do we know for sure some of our food or our pets food isn't?

  • i'm ok with this.

  • See, there's a bit double-standards going on with shock treatments like this, because if we were only to use the choice bits of animals and throw the other two thirds away, we would be called wasteful and cruel to animals. In a way I think it's a good thing that the less desirable parts get used for food as well.

  • @Chikkennoodul I agree. Every culture has dishes for the "leftovers" from haggis to scrapple to blood pudding to gizzards as it's a neccessity. And as for the whole shock thing, one could easily sit and tell the kids how manure is used to grow vegetables and it's not going to really effect kid's decisions to eat them.

  • outsmarted by 10year olds

  • The kids are too young. When he asked "who would still eat this?" Two kids raised their hands instantly (most likely because they were being silly) and the others saw them raise their hand, so they raised theirs.

  • you can make chicken broth with all the bones

  • chicken skin?? THIS IS THE BEST OF ALL :P

    Skórka z kurczaka rządzi!

  • i'll bet it would have worked if he dumped a bottle of ammonia in first, strained it, and then flavored it... like McDonalds. you know what, nm, they still probably would have eaten it. damn.

  • wow, how has my beloved america failed so hard, for so long.

  • @hesmotit it's all thanks to a little thing called "PROFIT". proof that the corporate restaurants and government really don't care what happens to us. no, i don't wear a tin-foil hat, but the fact that government agencies allow this type of junk to be passed as food is all you need to know the truth. no more processed meat products for this guy...

  • After I saw that on tv, I stopped eating nuggets and chicken burgers. -.-

  • WASH YOUR FACE JIMMY and comb your hair in proper way. YOU LOOK as if you are still DROOLING during your bedtime. i advice you to have a goodnight sleep before appearing any TV show and limit your hand touching the food you cook. thankyou.

  • Honestly, I think because one kid raised his/her hand, the others followed suite. Monkey-see monkey-do. Or maybe they were just hungry!

  • Really says something about us as a country that our kids are the ONLY ones who would still eat this stuff even after they've seen what goes into it.

  • @briantotse3

Guess you missed the part where Jamie admits that chicken nuggets aren't made out of that meat in the US. "Thankfully chicken nuggets aren't made this way in this country"

  • i still eat it because made by jamie

  • Epic failure!!! haha... kids are unpredictable man! such a nice clip

  • In Third World Countries, no part of the animal is taboo - yucky, disgusting, hideous etc.

As a vegetarian, I don't see what difference it makes how they process animal products for nuggets or anything else. I do care about how the animals were farmed and how they were 'harvested' than how they are eaten. Rather teach thye children to eat "Kind Food". Check out Animal Voice Kind Food.

  • This is how the world works unfortunately :):):) Take any old shit - wrap it up in tinsel & hundreds & thousands, a smidge of 'I taste good eat me' smell. Take an acceptable shape or form - And you can literally own whole planets :):):) Never mind Jamie!

  • I think a part of it is peer pressure as well. Notice two kids raised their hands immediately while the others looked at each other for reassurance. It's a domino effect. I think if no one raised their hand, than no one would want to eat it.

  • I don't understand the point he's trying to prove. Chicken bones, cartilage and skin aren't unhealthy just because they're not muscles. There's nothing wrong with processing them into palatable food. Unless they contain are a bunch of not-so-good additives (MSG, nitrates maybe). Would Jamie prefer we just waste all the stuff?

  • @geoffroymen it doesn't hold any nutrition just a lot of fat. You could make good soups out of it but not the most healthy thing to eat for your damn kids.

  • jamie oliver owned

  • yeaaaah! i just learned how to make home chicken nuggets! hahahhahaha

  • Oh i did not except that THAT would be the end of the experiment...but i forgot..."America...FUCK YEAH!"

  • faenamalaka

  • "You want to eat some?"

No asshole because you are pushing raw chicken in my face.

  • In french we say : Ventre affamé n'a pas d'oreilles . Hungry stomac has no ear. the experiment would work if they were less hungry or, if you prepared both in parallel and gave the choice. But If you prepareonly one kind and they are hungry and it smell good, then no luck . Keep on going Jamie, you are doing a mangnificent work .

Thank you for sharing your passion for good food by giving so many recipes, advices, tricks.

  • @Capucino888 Brilliant!, I'll have to remember that one

  • ill still eat it

  • I don't know why, but when he was putting all those animal's crap stuff into the food processor, I heard some voice in the back of my head yelling "ADD BACON STRIPS!", haha

  • @Almlacher lmao

  • I wish mcnuggets were made like that...

  • I hope they got rid of that food processor.

  • This is a clean version of what they use. I agree bones and marrow etc. is nourishing, but the quality of the animal is more of a priority. You need farm fresh foods not on antibiotics etc. and there is simply not enough clean meat currently available because people are not supporting sustainable farmers. The processed garbage coming out of the boxes in the stores is not as wholesome as what Jaimie just produced here in this video.

  • bone marrow is good for u and its a waste just to throw out what u can still eat

  • @vinhhuy1 i hope you're not being serious.

  • Why should only the muscels be eaten? I really don't understand why other organs shouldn't be eaten. This is, of course, only so long as they're safe. Eating brain is just that bit risky.

Liver tastes good. Skin tastes good, just think about grilled duck! Bonemarrow (how do you write it^^) is very sought after in nature (eagles drop bones on rock just to get to it). Besides the rests left on the carces are mostly muscle anyway.

  • hurrr durrrr people like food that I don't like they must be stooopid

    get

    a

    life

  • Americans are more adventurous about these things...

  • the world seriously has no hope, this is disgusting.

  • what's wrong with eating bones? there's marrow and calcium. blood? proteins and vitamins. people in other countries eat food made of these ingredients. just because it 'looks' and 'seems' gross doesn't mean it's not still healthy and maybe delicious.

  • @Pikmeir oh dear, we have a scientist here already. are you honestly trying to tell me that mcdonald's meat (this exact shit full of additives and god knows what else) is healthy? and even if they did serve up natural leftovers that look gross, that doesn't cancel out the fact that the chickens are fed all of these horrible growth hormones and die in their own shit... and that's only the beginning of the story. they don't care about the animals' OR the customers' well being.

  • 50 chicken nuggets for 10 bucks in my area... Its edible and cheap, feeds my family. Do I really care?

  • @ThaRotten1

I feel sad that you are not concerned for the food you feed your family. Food, REAL FOOD is medicine, processed food is cheap crap that is toxic. This video of chicken nuggets is actually a fabulous version very healthful etc. The garbage in the stores and 50 for $10 costs them only 50 cents my friend. You can buy a chicken back and grind it yourself and make 300 nuggets for $5 and it would actually be healthy for your family. Bet you don't cook though either do you.

  • I gagged..

  • they should have been shown video from the abattoir killing floor first...

  • the should have been shown video from the abattoir killing floor first...

  • little stupid american fat eating dumbies, haha, no wonder it is the fatest nation worldwide with exploding health care costs because of all the fatties!

  • those kids are like brainwashed.

  • End of the say, Jamie is a porker and looks like a guy in his late 20s who lives on a diet of junk food and fizzy drinks.

I am over 40 and still do rock climbing, football and jog most mornings, this guy looks like he would have a stroke if he had to run half a mile..

Lead by example sunshine, i eat junk food and get pissed sometimes but burn off the fat, so stayed at 13 stone for the past 10 years.

  • @kevinturvy

He's a chef and runs his own cooking show. I don't think he would have time to excersise as much as you would

  • @7thHackeR Why not, Gordon Ramsey has plenty of time to keep fit and he is quite a bit older than Jamie, and pretty much works non stop.

I work mainly from home and spend most of my working day sat down repairing electrical equipment, sometimes untill very late into the evening.

I can go out for a bike ride at midnight, people just use excuses, the guy is not working 24/7 and if he was there is no need to eat everything in sight

  • @kevinturvy

    Lol I guess you're right

  • so what's the consequence of all this? Rather throw away half a chicken to get some legs and chicken wings??? I mean there's no "unnatural" things in it, it's just chicken!

maybe we should rather think about the factory farming of these chickens instead of the way they are processed when they're already dead...

  • @awxecrf If you don't care about eating chicken bones and funk, just start buying chicken made dog food. Some fast food chains had re-named them to just Nuggets, because they use genetically engineered chickens that r legally not allowed to be called "chickens". Maybe you like Taco Bell meat too, which is less than half beef. Eat that processed food up and tell us how it works for you, while many third world countries out live us, and live healthier and happier doing it. One reason they do......

  • @d1incharge think you got me wrong. I just wanted to shift the attention from the processing of the food to it's origin. You're right, maybe it's not the best idea to mash up the whole chicken. But for me it is not like I find this too much disgusting.

It's the overall "need" for meat every day, that makes the industry concentrate on mass instead of quality. So that's why "genetically engineered" food is produced today. But a "Nugget" made out of a naturally grown chicken is fine for me.

  • @d1incharge actually Taco Bell meat is beef (google it. they even had a legal case against it recently in which Taco Bell won)

  • @awxecrf

    *

ye sure, we're totally made to ear bones...

  • @awxecrf

ye sure we're totally made to eat bones...

  • this is sad somehow :D

  • i'll eat the chicken nuggets! because they're handmade by a cook, not machine

  • SCHOOL LUNCHES ARE SUPPOSE TO BE HEALFY!

  • @fesfes132123 Learn to spell dim wit it's spelt healthy.

  • @A5HLEYHALLOW51 Learn to spell dimwit it's spelled "spelled".

  • who will eat this HANDS UP!

  • FAIL

  • These kids are too young. They look to be around 7 or 8 at a time where they just do what everyone else does. At first only one of the little kids raised there hand and suddenly all of the other ones also raised there hand. The experiment has probably worked with older kids who know how to think individually.

  • @07611s As I am working with young children, I 100% agree with you.

  • @07611s I was about to say the exact same thing.

  • i dont want to eat anything when i go to america again they will eat anything!

  • @stubru16 Not sure if you caught it.. but in the beginning he says "thankfully, they aren't made this way in your country (America)" that's how they make them in his country.. and if you were to go to an actual restaurant . You wouldn't get any of this processed food..

  • Pluralistic ignorance

Adopting these norms, even if you do not agree with them, is a part of the individual sacrifice that people accept as a price of group membership.

  • ok maybe the skin isnt so healthy, but, is it necessarily a bad/unhealthy thing to eat the rest of the chicken? what is the "stabilizer" and "flavoring" really? whats bad about eating that?

  • @OldeTymeGaming

nitrates for one, which cause heart disease, preservative's, which can cause gastrointestinal distress, glutamate's (which aren't bad in their own right, they just can make you feel like your not full so you keep)

  • OMG DID I HAVE TO LOOK AT THIS VIDEO?? I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF MAKING CHICKEN NUGGETS!!!!!!! EWWWW

  • @verley21 I was eating chicken nuggets while I was watching it.. yea.. almost ralfed

  • god bless america

  • america, you have just pissed your pants in front of everybody!

  • I have a food processor at home. Yay, now I know how to make chicken nuggets at home!!

  • it's not about the chicken, but what's added to it.

  • i never eat a nugget again!

  • That is sooooo shocking and almost sad. It seems that it's a conditioned response to just eat the cheaply made gunk knowing it's got stuff in it that we know isn't good. Terrible!

  • im with the kids, they look awesome!! and why not eat all parts of the chicken? Not just your fancy british "expensive cuts"!! i guess the powder stuff is gross though. but who knows? maybe that stuff is what made lebron james a super human.

  • @JAYCHUCKBURNS

Steroids made Lebron James a super human :D

  • The bigger question is, did the chicken nuggets taste good?

  • @beyondthetech

    I bet they smelled great!!

  • @beyondthetech Because your taste buts have been terribly corrupted. They are confused. You can change that.

  • OWNED!

  • Silly kids.. why are they cringing at the chicken carcass! When he said do you want to eat this, I was like HELL YEAH! Marinated and cooked of course... Actually I think it's quite nutritious. For example, bone is high in calcium (course you wouldn't want to consume too much bone). It's the frying that makes it bad (duh). Don't you know how much stuff looks gross pre-cooked but tastes good? Almost everything. AND lots of healthy foods look gross at the edible stage. He deserved to fail.

  • Waste Not Want Not

  • Little did he know those kids were 4chan trolls.. Fail!

  • Lekker kippie

  • There's really nothing bad about it. Its still chicken. Why let all of it go to waste if it's still practically consumable and our bodies will digest like any other food? The skin/connective tissue isn't bad either. You would still eat the same skin off of a grilled chicken, so who cares?

Would you boycott using a bottle just because it was made from recycled materials? No, that would be stupid. Just as stupid as boycotting chicken nuggets just because they come from certain parts of a chicken.

  • @rrruizzz amen

  • Try eating chicken feet. Probably the worst tasting thing I ever ate when I visited China.

  • @mkmead2006 ha ha, my grandma and aunty make pigs' feet.

  • I bet those still taste better than McNuggets.

  • chicken skins are the best

  • lolpwnd

  • I love the way that little kid pops a massive grin when Jamie Oliver says the word "breasts."

  • i wish to cram this into my ass

  • Mmm yummy

  • good thing that a dint like the frist time when i was 6 in san antonio. de adam
