I spent time in Iwama between 1987 and 1993, for a total period of two years, both as uchi-deshi and soto-deshi. Morihiro Saito was my teacher even though Hitohiro would practice alongside and take an occasional class when Saito Sensei didn't teach.
Before 1987 I studied under Tomita Sensei in Stockholm, Sweden(who himself was a student of Morihiro Saito)since the age of eleven. I graded Nidan for Morihiro Saito in Iwama in 1991. Since his death Ulf Evenas has graded me Sandan. I never considered Hitohiro my teacher and do not follow him now. This clip is for instructional purpose firstmost for my students. It is very much the way Saito Sensei taught in Iwama. Clear and precise, step by step. I will later add a more flowing version.
Thanks - clearest and most accurate (Saito style) I have found.

And 1993 would have been the last time we saw each other, so it is great to see you again Bjorn! And looking good! Keep it up.

Well done, but it seems to me you've been taught by hito hiro, instead by his father, am i wrong ?
