Actually, they're the same game, but MIRRORED. So, everything that's on the right in the Wii version is actually on the left for the Gamecube version. It's because Link is left handed, but the developers thought that it would be odd for people to hold the Wii remote in their right hand and have Link swing with his left, so they mirrored the game.

@InvincibleBrent the softness gives it a very sad, memorable feel which SPOT ON reminded me of the sad story of the marching man for some reason in majora's mask. It doesnt have that carnival-ish feel you get from the original, but is a beautiful song in its own right
