Easily the best game I've ever played to date. GoW2 incorporates greek myth in it's story so well, with so many familiar characters, excellent narration by Linda Hunt, insane combat, beautiful cut scenes and so much more, makes GoW2 to be a very captivating experience! Can't say much for GoW3 except that it looked beautiful and was an awesome game, but GoW2 set the bar and no game for me has surpassed it.

@Xxpho3nix89xX if you like third person action games they don't get any better than this series. i would advise if you have a ps3 get the god of war collection and play them in order. the game is longer than gow 1 - around 10 - 12 hours on normal difficulty - some of the best bosses you'll encounter, I believe Game Informer ranks the opening battle with the Collosus of Rhodes in the top ten openings of all time. You won't go far wrong trust me.

vice city is better then san andreas? you havent played san andreas have you, like all the way through, its much better and much longer, the way to get rid of that crappy view at the beggining is to press start and turn something off on the settings screen, makes it look alot better, better then vice city, its also the best selling game on ps2 and is rated higher then this, try playing it all the way through

The thing with the graphics is that yeah they're a good quality but there isn't much processing going on here because it all just looks pre rendered to me and because of this I don't think this game pushes the ps2 to its limits. All the graphical processing is in the background, which is why spiderman looks cooler in 3 than he does in 2.

Hi. The PSP version is NOT god of war 1; it's called god of war: chains of olympus and it's a prequal to god of war 1.

But I don't think any other god of war is out for PSP at the moment.

But you could get a PS2 for really cheap these days to play the first and second one. And if you have a PSP you can play god of war: chains of olympus. I hope that helped. Thanks. :)

But after seeing this review i understood that the game is is not so cool

Well its graphics for PS2 is awesome but gameplay sucks.....your characters SWORD is SO LONG the guards even unable to attack you

And what is the sence of playing such game where you cant be attacked?
