Is it exaggerated the fact that you have to learn how to drive differently in a Porsche because of the engine being rear-mounted? I heard you shouldn't lift off during corners, but instead break early and accelerate right through them. Have Porsche managed to tame the lively rear-end in more recent cars?

You actually HAVE to drive it in a different way, the rear engine allows you to brake LATER and that also helps to avoid the little understeer. It also allows to accelerate EARLIER than with other car due to better traction. Quite strange the first time but after....OMG!!

Hi , I also owned a GT-R and sold it to buy back a GT3, but the feelings are different of the reality, on the Chrono side, the times are identical whith the new GT-R without lounge control....besides if you do track, the Nissan will not hold up too long- the brakes and Transmission overheat fast.....

GT3 series 2 is a true drivers car which demands driver involvement and commitment. To say it is ugly is just being plain stupid and so typical from someone with no money to ever buy it. GTR on the other hand may be fast in the hands of the inexperienced but is less than half the fun for someone who really likes to drive using a stick and 3 pedals. So.....fast surely doesnt = beautiful with that car but actually = boring.

plz when u get the gt don't twin turbo. highboost supercharge trust me much better response, especially in a muscle car

I have looked into a high boost high displacemet supercharger from Whipple Industries. it's 402 CUI and has the twin screw type induction. They can make over 1000 hp on mid boost 17-19.5 PSI so running high boost 20-22 would make a little more on the low end.

But hey if I had the money I'd get 5 of them and do different things. I've seen a GT with both! The turbos where feedin the supercharger and made 1500 WHP.

I must agree with you here, the 911 model has ben over-used for way too long. Every year a new special edition with different spoiler and rims. They are fast though, but they had like 30 years to perfection that.

It evokes excitement because the new models are always faster and more efficient. And the shape remains the same because the engineers from Porsche found the perfect shape and stuck with it
