  • awesome, i like the plant life.

  • how come every non member of the lds church has to say something negative about the church and about the book of mormon? Have you actually read the book before actually acting on it?

  • Please don't be fooled by the teachings of Joseph Smith. His claims are false and have been proven by many scholars to be false. Faith in God is not tested in whether you feel it in your bosom or not. I would also think twice about a belief system that claims or claimed that black people where the decedents of Satan. Don't be a fool and test the scriptures yourself and you will find that Mormonism is far removed from Christ and what He came to this world to accomplish.

  • @gab197 Amen ....For instance, God promises that anyone who adds or takes away from the Revelation, his name will be tossed out of the Lamb's Book of Life. Joseph Smith is in for a world of hurting !

  • @stanfan27 Crap! Anyone who reads beyond Deuteronomy is doomed as well since it says the same thing. Have you already ripped all the books past Deuteronomy out of your bible? Have you even studied this topic before? Revelations isn't even the last book written chronologically, many of the epistles included in the New Testament are written after this book of Revelations.

  • @battleboy2000 Sorry but you're wrong. And yes I have studied this topic and yes I already knew Revelation was Chronologically written before many other books including the epistles and many of the other non-cannonized biblical books. How is God revealing himself in his works, changing it? But God revealed himself to Joseph Smith, right? WRONG ! The Book of Mormon contradicts the Gospels in many ways. Christ doesn't contradict himself. Everyone's an expert behind a keyboard.

  • @stanfan27 You're right that everyone's an expert behind a computer, you so easily discredit my studies as well. Do you not find it ironic that there are thousands upon thousands of churches that believe in the same Bible yet have so many differences? Since you're an expert on this topic tell me how the Book of Mormon and Bible contradict each other? Do you realize how many times the four gospels of the New Testament contradict themselves? Don't pretend to be all knowing on this topic.

  • @battleboy2000 I'm not the one that got on here and started shooting my mouth off. I was simply saying what the Lamb's Book of Life is. The one everyone knows off the bat is Alma 7:10 in the BOM. Jesus was NOT born in Jerusalem. 2 Nephi has loads of contradictions as to when the Holy Spirit was bestowed and when the Gospel was revealed. I would like to know what you mean by contradictions in the Gospels. Maybe translation issues but I have not seen contractions. And nobody is an expert but God !

  • @stanfan27 If you're going to try and criticize the Book of Mormon, at least know what you're talking about. Alma 7:10 does not say Jesus was born "in" Jerusalem but "at" Jerusalem. As the Tell El-Amarna Tablets, discovered in 1887, show, Bethlehem was part of an area anciently called the "land of Jerusalem."

  • @jaxl2009 That point has been disputable for many years and from all that I have read, I have not found concrete evidence to say what they call Jerusalem was what was "inclusive" at that time. But that's just one instance in the BoM. There's many others and collected as a whole, I share the sentiment of Christians and even non-Christians alike that the contradictions are too many and too obvious. And I do know what I am talking about.

  • @stanfan27 I SUPPORT YOU STATEMENT....INGNORE BATTLEBOY2000...HE OR SHE IS NON-BELIEVER....IN MY PLACE, WE CALLED THAT KIND OF PERSON IS PALOI!!

  • @gab197 It's so ironic that you are calling people fools for "finding out for themselves" Do you not believe in personal revelation from God? Do you not believe that He loves us enough to still speak to us? Why is that so foolish to ask our Heavenly Father is prayer and expect an answer from the only source that can give us truth? Correct me if I'm wrong, but you are saying that Mans wisdom is superior to Gods???

  • Book of Mormon is not true... sorry. The Bible is a good place to start.

  • wow is this were my miracle grow comes from

  • Hate to rain on anyone's pilgrimage, but the Bible never mentions a "Garden of Gethsemane." Matthew & Mark say Jesus "went to Gethsemane," but never says if it was a garden or even that it was outside. Luke says Jesus went to the My of Olives to pray. John says he went across the Kidron Valley to an unnamed garden. So we can't claim there even was such a thing as a "Garden of Gethsemane" let alone know the geographical spot where Jesus was arrrested. That said, the tourist site is very pretty.

  • what about the book of mormon did you happen to read that?

  • Is that the book some fruit cake cowboy wrote whilst taking into his ten gallon hat?

  • Well, did you?

  • @Bytnyk Gethsemane means "Olive oil press"....the garden is located at the foot of the mount of olives.

  • touching..

  • beautiful
