Now that I realize, the crowd only gave standing ovations to Caroline and Alissa. What about Rachel, Mirai, and Ashley? How unappreciative. Anywhere else, they would have received a full standing ovation for their efforts.
Thanks for posting!!!! I love her :) She looked so happy. Scary start but the program got better and better, I think she finally nailed the choreography. I'm sad she didn't get to go to 4CC, but I hope she'll be Jr Worlds Champion soon. Best of luck Ashley!!
Oh and about the commentary; they stated the exact same facts in exactly the same way last year; yes we know 9/11 was scary for her, tell us something else, I'm sure there's lots of other things about her we'd like to know.
Ashley is the future of US ladies figure skating. Great, balanced program with great jumping passes, great choreography, such passion, and unique footwork. One of the few skaters who balances footwork and armwork very nicely. Her skating brings a smile to my face :) Thanks for posting!

But I think what she has to do now is work on her edges, and her speed a bit. If she does that, we'll see her program component scores go up higher.
