use dry gin not saphire, i prefer beefeater. use tonic water without high fructose corn syrup. dont put a ton of lime you really only want the zest and oil from the skin not actually lime juice. that will make the best cocktail. its a simple drink but needs quality ingredients.
I've tried about every gin type there is for my G&T and I have to say that I like Tanqueray best. Though, it's only my opinion ;)
