why would you even pay that much for these? in the CDj world that is called ANTI SHOCK... and you can even wobble the player without skipping on a unit that costs you about £60...... and on top of that, you dont have to pay hefty prices for vinyl... which u have to replace when they get worn.... and are hefty to carry. seriously id buy these as collectors item IF ONLY... they didnt cost as much as high end CD players
@stylakidd because although cdj's are way ahead of regular turntables cdj's are SHIT for scratching on, an I'm not talking about wiki wiki wahh scratching. I also can't imagine beat juggling with cdj's and I can only imagine that I would look and feel like a total idiot trying to rip it up on cdj's. For sure though, if you're just wanting to mix house music or just mix for that matter then cdj's are amazing, but then again I still (and thousands of other dj's) prefer the warm vinyl sound.
I've noticed that the deck sales are now discontinued, but i guess is due to give an extra value to the controller one, this model is the only one with the new tonearm remaining. It's just a plus to buy the C1, though anyone can buy asts at vestax´s technical service offices.
suprised you havent snapped all your feet off doin that yet lol ive killed mine, and i dint find the pdx2000 mk1 all that bad, it dint go 90* but still stuck quite well
i looked at the vestax website and it looks like the pdx2000mkII pro has been discontinued..
i really don't understand vestax..why would they stop manufacture this deck? they should stick with one solid turntable like technics1200 and keep it in their product line for years.
Nice test. Let us know if u find out about the QFOs. I also wondered if I could swap the dynamic balance arm onto my QFO LE DX, but I sold it and found a used original QFO for sale and bought that instead. The LE DX is nice, but the ASTS and no eq functions kinna kills some joy out of it. Plus I got the UK model that needed a heavy voltage converter. Anyways, let us know...
get a technics...a no bullshit deck and built better.....

goddam vestax
on my 3000 they put the old tonearm
so in my anger i made i plan to reconstruct the old tonearm that way, that it will be even better than the orginal ASTS-tonearm.
i just copied the function and it cost me less that 10 cent !!!! i can now scratch @ 90 degrees or make insane moves, i couldnt make before !!
i will post a videotutorial soon !!!
believe me guys...u can make ur regular vestaxtonearm to an ASTS-arm. it will cost less than 10 cent and will even be better !!!!!!!

Do you place a 5 cent coin on the headshell?? :-p

pdx feet are weak, they're hold by a plastic screw that's not to hard to break.
the pdx 2000 is a great deck but it's tonearm is quite inferior to mkII one.
A bmw is a bmw but a ferrari is better

Try that with technics and it will blow up AHAHAH Vestax the best

for sure, but maybe Vestax wants to give sales priority to Vestax Controller One. I think you can buy this tonearm at your country's Vestax SAT

I'll try to fit the Dynamic balance into my le, and then tell you about.
I got an le from the uk, and it came just with a uk-->european plug. I supose you live in the USA, here in Spain there's no need to adapt voltages.
turntablog 3 years ago
I think it's possible, I suppose I'll try in a near future, so stay tuned

any idea if a Dynamic Bal Tone arm can be fitted on a PDX MkII or QFO LE?
I've been considering selling my QFO LE DX, just for that superior tracking of the Dynamic Balance
