Long before the Muslims began their enslavement of others, the Jews were already doing it & even going the extra mile to ensure that the Muslims would take the historical fall. In the past, the "Exodus" was fabricated to overwrite Jewish slavetrading and slaveholding through the bogus claim that the Jews had actually been the slaves. Even today, $42M has been backtraced to organizations actively involved in a campaign to demonize Islam to clear the path for Israeli terrorism.
Imagine my surprise when I came across the Talmud, I found Treachery, lies and deceit is part of their common law:-
- Babha Kama (113b) It is permitted to DECEIVE Christians.
- Zohar (1,160a) Jews must always try to DECEIVE Christians.
How much longer are you going to believe that Islam is the religion that is out to get you when the real wolves are already in your own backyard indoctrinating the sheeple of this nation into a clusterfuck of Islamic demonization?
In 1793, Muslim Barbary pirates captured the U.S. cargo ship Polly. The ship was plundered and the crew was imprisoned. The Muslim captain justified their brutal treatment: "for your history and superstition in believing in a man who was crucified by the Jews and disregarding the true doctrine of God's last and greatest prophet, Mohammed."

Anyone catch the extended Daily Show interview of Barton on the Comedy Central/Comedy Network website? Barton openly said that he'd support the establishment of Sharia Law in Dearborn Michigan.
"Why I bet they wrote the First Amendment with the Mohammedans in mind."
The Founding Fathers wrote the First Amendment with [[everyone]] in mind. It is that 1st Amendment that both prevents the establishment of Sharia law and enshrines the right to practice Islam (or any other faith) as well.

Jefferson purchased his Koran while he was still a student [1765], before he became a lawyer, let alone a President. He bought in the interest of knowledge in general and as a part of his religious studies - which led him to oppose all "organized religions', including Christianity. This claim that he bought a Koran merely to examine the beliefs of an 'enemy' cheapens the memory of one of the great intellects, and seekers of knowledge for knowledge's sake, the world has ever known
@DwayneShaw1 Ummm.... you seem pretty educated so I have a question. If Jefferson opposed Christianity, why did he have a chapel built in Washington (I can't recall exactly in which federal building) and, why did he preside over the first services in that chapel? I wasn't expecting this so I am unprepared, but I saw the documentation on this.
Dude, David Barton is a historical revisionist and is a promoter of Christian Theonomy (aka "Christian Sharia"). I take it that by promoting his work this channel is not so much opposed to the removal of civil-rights as it is concerned about whether or not the people taking away those rights wear bow to Mecca.
Also, I find it funny how in discussing the events in the middle-east back then he avoids mentioning the Treaty of Tripoli, which explicitly states that America is not a Christian nation.
The bill for establishing religious freedom, the principles of which had, to a certain degree, been enacted before, I had drawn in all the latitude of reason & right. It still met with opposition; but, with some mutilations in the preamble, it was finally passed; and a singular proposition proved that it's protection of opinion was meant to be universal. Where the preamble declares that coercion is a departure
2 - from the plan of the holy author of our religion, an amendment was proposed, by inserting the word "Jesus Christ," so that it should read "a departure from the plan of Jesus Christ, the holy author of our religion." The insertion was rejected by a great majority, in proof that they meant to comprehend, within the mantle of it's protection, the Jew and the Gentile, the Christian and Mahometan, the Hindoo, and infidel of every denomination.
@ShadowPa1adin - You purport the very same duplicity that you accuse David Barton of. The passage "As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion" is referring that the United States is not a theocracy. So, to further solidify the conditions of treaty , Jefferson was making the point that the people of the United States of America hold no ill feelings towards the Muslims based on their belief system alone; far different from theirs!
All it takes to understand why anyone would have a problem with a Muslim holding office in America is to study the history of Islam and it's teachings all the way up to current times. Islam's goal is to grow itself through violence and when that wont work,..through deceiptful practices. Do yourself a favor,..
Put this in the YouTube search window: "Three things you (probably) don't know about islam"
Thomas Jefferson clearly included "Mohammedans" mentioned in a list of examples of religious freedom allowed in America. Of course radical Zionists such as yourself would never concede such a thing. You have to demonize the middle east and Islam for an agenda of war.
In those days, the sea-going jihadis were called the Barbary Pirates. They did as the Somali Pirates do today: attacked commercial shpping on the high seas, not in territorial waters. The Barbary Pirates not only terrorized the Mediterranean countries, but they sailed up the western coast of Europe, in the Atlantic as far as Iceland and Ireland, going ashore to burn, rob and capture slaves. Over 1 million European slaves were taken in those years.
Barton's word-smithing is evil. The Koran and Bible and Torah all speak in metaphors, and often violent ones. We were not at war with Islam. We were at war with the Ottoman Empire, a political entity which abused their own people's scripture to build up an empire. Go to Istanbul and learn a little; Religion was only used as a tool to dupe conscripts and mollify grieving families.
America was not only in foreign waters, but, as stated by Barton, invaded other countries thereafter. It's true that the US's militant history of invading countries is not limited to this decade by any means. How many times has a muslim country "invaded" the US? Furthermore, the Quran does NOT "preach" killing. The word "Jihad" means "struggle"- referencing the defensive struggle against persecution from Pagans, Jews, and Christians during early Islam. Barton misrepresents World History & Islam.
@RowdySaudi All it takes to understand why anyone would have a problem with a Muslim holding office in America is to study the history of Islam and it's teachings all the way up to current times. @trjonez The history of Islam? I dont know what religion you are, but I can guarantee in any event that the God you believe in has incited violence or conquest in some way, shape or form. All cults are expansionist, if they hadn't been created so in the first place they would not exist today.
Jefferson also wrote his own version of the bible, by the way.
@crazyliberalguy I am a member of the religion called Atheism. Responsible for more deaths (by far) than all other religions combined. We believe in man and might equals right. One of the teachings of our religion is to believe in another religion called Evolution which also teaches,..only the strong survive. We also believe in another religion that places animals above man,...the Church of Environmentalism,..We atheists frequent these churches as well as the Church of Global Warming.
@trjonez What does Global Warming have to do with Atheism?
What the hell does evolution have to do with Atheism?
How are they both religions?
Since when is Atheism a religion? It has no doctrine, no holy books, no prophet, no universal truth. Atheism does not serve as a replacement for religious activity, it is the absence of religious activity altogether. You can't kill a person "in the name" of Atheism, it's function is to negate.
And what the hell does that have to do with Islam?
Those who claim that our nation had Islamic influence in our founding are so misguided and ignorant of history it is unbelievable. Barton is one-sided in his views, because of the simple fact that it was one-sided, in that Judeo-Christian ideology is what influenced our country to a large extent. All you cultural relavist care nothing about history. Put it this way: If America was founded by Islamist, do you think it would be what it is today? Yeah, I thought so.
Or better yet, all you who keep taking up for Islam and seem to think all religions are relative and not believe our Judeo-Christian roots played a HUGE role in what made this country (and the West) what it is today, feel free to move to Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iran (or any other Islamic country). I am sure since Islam is no better or worse than Christianity, you all will find their living conditions just as accommodating as the United States. Some of you have no earthly clue.
This man fails to mention that Islam was brought to the Americas by the British in the 1700s, many early Americans were also Muslims, as well as Christians and other religions. This man also fails to say that Islam is the world second largest religion, and having a koran back then was very normal
(cont.) ...theme his organization, "Wallbuilders", promotes to support the "religulous"(sic) idea that Jefferson's "wall of separation" between church and state only goes one-way. That government not only can't interfere with religion (true) but that religion (specifically Christianity) CAN be endorsed, promoted, sanctioned or sponsered by the government. This is a lie. Numerous U.S. Supreme Court decisions over several decades have affirmed that the US constitution remains secular.
I don't claim to know a lot about the relations between the US and the Islamics states in Jefferson's time. But I DO know David Barton, who is a US history, Christian revisionist and a pathological "liar for Jesus." His agenda is to postulate the idea that the US was "founded" on Christian principles, and that the Founding Fathers "officially" endorsed religion by taking every opportunity to promote Christianity, and Barton lies prolifically about it.
Thats it man...i'm just coming out and saying it. I have alot of Bartons videos..and he does have alot to offer. But his view of american history is simply one-sided. I agree there is a big problem with Islam. But at one time in history Christianity was also quite unreasonable, despite the true intentions of Jesus Christ.
Most of the founding fathers were Masons, and they're anything but Christian. You probably shouldn't use Free Masons to prove any points about Islam or Christianity.
i have a hard time with this one....the other side of this is that American ships where in the territorial waters of these muslim countries. Do i think the koran encourages attacking the unbelievers. Yes. Do i think Jefferson dealt with the situation in the right way? i don't know. I tend to not think so. The muslims weren't over in american waters attacking were they? we were there.
