i have sickle cell too i'm 14 and i just wish that my P.E. teachers and friends could understand that i cant run or work out like they can, thats my problem. ):

Pamela you have a beautiful voice and a great outlook in life. I have a 10 yr old with sickle cell and I also have it. I am 34 and truly inspired by you. I had to drop out of college because of my illness but glad to say I am back in school now. No matter how long it may take don't ever give up on your dreams. I push myself daily at work and in school for the sake of my child. I dont want her to think she cant work or continue her education because she has sickle cell. Thank you n keep fighting.

I was born with sickle cell anemia aswell i am 11 years old and i havee to have lots of blood tests
