  • KENNY ANDERSON, ELI REED, AND SAMMY BACA

    skateboarding represent...

  • if doc were to dunk then this would have been betta i dont care if he is 60 or not dunk or gtfo

  • The White Stripes selling out? The riff to Seven Nation Army is popular around the world, used in many sports venues, the White Stripes once did a commercial for Coca Cola, and they do this and you call them a sell out now? The White Stripes are great and you should be thankful that they've kept their style consistent throughout their whole career, give em a brake...Great commercial!

  • Yo this is the shizznitt. Julius is the god father. Love this video.

  • I officailly hate converse...

  • Jim Jones is in no way cool.

  • haha baca!

  • that was a good drum break [cit.]

  • No not a hater actually a lover of converse just this commercial makes no sense to me and I am a brand loyalist.......so why not

  • White selling out are idiots and can shove a pineapple up your ass! Its good to see Jack White/White Stripes get there names and music out there and gain the bigger audience and fan base they deserve! By mixing it up with some hip hop and legendary athletes that is a perfect ad campaign...Jack White is carrying the torch for rock music right now, He owns it, its about time he gets paid a little extra, EPIC!!!

  • @RichCasillasTV i don't have a problem with the white stripes but when i hear them i don't think basketball. that's my thing why even have jim jones in it? they realy could not get one of his song's

  • This whole ad/Commercial is BADASS!!!! All you haters complaining about Jack White selling out are idiots and can shove a pineapple up your ass! Its good to see Jack White/White Stripes get there names and music out there and gain the bigger audience and fan base they deserve! By mixing it up with some hip hop and legendary athletes that is a perfect ad campaign...Jack White is carrying the torch for rock music right now, He owns it, its about time he gets paid for it too

  • @RichCasillasTV no the music doesn't fit the video. The music isn't bad though. for two where’s the hip-hop(aside from jim Jones just being there) it's creates a different feel form the commercial.

  • owwwwwwwwww my group is in the comercial go IMPACT

  • I keep watching this thing over and over, like it's addictive or something. I'm not even a basketball fan, and I don't wear Converse or Nike shoes; but this ad is just very striking. It's not only the great music, but the visual shots are great. I especially like the part where Dr. J pulls his hood back, and you see the expressions on his face and the other faces. Classic. So much dignity there. It made me curious, so I looked up his bio on wikipedia. ("Julius Erving") Very impressive stuff.

  • u can tell Nike owns Converse. NIKE KNOWS MARKETING

  • MY SIS IS IN THIS, SHE DANCING :)

  • Imagine there was that only dude who had on a pair of Jordans.... probably kill them. LOL

  • the logo looks like the crescent moon and star with a modern, artistic touch so not to make obvious. though used by different groups, is also one of Lucifer . this religion was also involved in the nazi stuff

  • I knew the song was by the white stripes i fucking knew!

  • Ahhh influencia swoosh forte ai hein!!

  • Mas All Star é sacanagem ;x

  • uii el Carlitos metiendole con las leyendas... P.R. en la casa

  • the kid at 52 seconds is my friend ((((((:

  • Who are these people and why is this cool?

I like converse always have and worn them for years but this does nothing for me...

  • @Pixiebri go to california get your buddies drink some kool-aid and wear white nikes..... fucking hater

  • Remember when chucks were made in the USA and cost less than $20 for a pair of low tops? I do....

  • Fucking Epic, Jack White's musical excellence totally puts a perfect touch on this masterpiece.

  • my brother is in this at 51 seconds !

  • That is... really disappointing. The White Stripes letting a song be played on a random commercial. Weren't they the ones who rejected a million dollar gap commercial spot?

  • @SensibleNeverWins: Yes, they rejected an offer for a Gap ad, along with many other commercial offers over the years. For some reason they approved of this one. Maybe it's not as "random" as you're assuming?

"Just because we cannot understand the reasons for a man's actions, that does not make him a fool."

  • @Delia5M look who your telling.. sensible never wins

  • @Delia5M it does make the man look foolish though.

  • @SensibleNeverWins well gap sucks. converse does not..

    see the difference?

  • go fuck yourself jack white.

  • Dr. J \m/ ^.^

  • I love how everyone is bitching about Jack White apparently selling out. The White Stripes were around for nearly six years before they received any sort of recognition in the United States, and were truly respected as musicians. It doesn't seem like Meg's very into the Stripes anymore, what is Jack supposed to do? Just sit around and wait for her? He makes music that is what he loves, so he continues to do so. I think he as brilliant today as he was when I first started listening ten years ago.

  • @scarlettdear It's not a sellout anyway. It's not like he's selling out artistically. The song starts "hello operator..." If I'm not mistaken, Julius Erving was called "doctor" because would operate on the opposing team.

  • Id like to point out that this is the best commercial ever made

  • Beautifully intricate commercial. Pure thug.

What are the shoes worn at :29?

  • youtube.com/watch?v=PGtZ6UwPxvg

  • tht is one ball sucky advert, and it's not like the white stripes to sell out on a song like tht.

  • @10robbo:

Who gets to define "selling out" for Jack White? You??

Pretty damn funny when fans start trying to boss around

an artist like Jack White. Lots of luck with that, eh? :))

Maybe he saw the advert and liked it, for some reason.

It is paying homage to a few iconic heroes of the past,

and that's the sort of thing he seems to relate to pretty well.

It's a dramatic commercial, the way it's shot and all.

Who knows why he agreed to let them use the song,

but I'm glad he did. :)
