I think it would've been more fitting if each of the elements that assisted the snowman lost their own lives in the process; as the tree cut itself down, the cloud rained itself out and the wind uses up all of its energy; it can symbolize the sacrifices of the people close to you(your parents, guardians relatives etc)

Snowgirl smiled widely at Snowboy and ran to hug him. They hugged each other happily. And Cloud, and Wind, stood in the background gazing at the happy sight. And Snowboy and Snowgirl were so happy. But it was short lived. The sun soon came out, and started to melt the snow couple.

Snowboy ran back to the ravine with his wood. He took out a hammer and made a boat! Then Cloud came above the ravine, and she rained on the ravine, turning it into a river! Snowboy waved to the shocked looking Snowgirl across the ravine, and pushed his boat into the water, and got in. Then Wind came and he blew and blew making Snowboy's boat sail across the water. Then he came to land in front of Snowgirl!

Snowboy looked and looked and finally he found cloud. He told cloud about Tree's idea and asked for his help. Cloud thought for a minute, then smiled and said she would help. Snowboy thanked her and smiled and ran off to find Wind. After a while he found him. Blowing away at some trees, wind spotted Snowboy and came to him. Snowboy asked for Wind's help. Wind swirled happily and said he'd love to help!

Snowboy went to talk to his friend, the tree. He told the tree about snowgirl, and how he wanted to be with her, but that the ravine separated them. Tree saw how sad Snowboy was, and thought for a minute. Then he had a wonderful idea! He gave snowboy some of his wood, and told him to talk to the Cloud, and the Winds, and ask for their help. Snowboy took the wood and ran off to find Cloud.

after all the hard work the guy went thorugh to get over to his love, it is quite desparing to see them die so soon. this may be morbid, what im about to say, but: being able to die, and slip away within the gaze, or hold of someone you love...must be one of the best ways to die. yest sad at the same time. but if you love them enough, the despair should just disappear.
