The White Stripes is a two piece band,Guitar and drums (guitar player sings lead vocals). If you would like to hear what a band sounds like without bass, check them out. This band has a huge following but is no longer playing/recording. Their biggest hit was "Seven army nation" in which the guitar player emulates a bass with his guitar. I am a bass player and I like this song ( it is still lacking though), but the rest of there songs pretty much lack the bass and therefore..BLOW! (IMHO)
