  • These days you gotta buy a sattelite radio just to here good ol musi like this..

  • One of the Greatest Duets of All time, My Personal Favorites is Alan Jackson & George Strait Murder on Music Row, Dolly Parton and Rickey Van Shelton Rockin Years...and a few others....MY OPINION the greatest DUO Brooks and Dunn and the greatest band Alabama....Just a ramble of OPINIONS so if you think Rascal FAGS is the best I don't give a fuck just like if you disagree with me you shouldn't give a fuck so don't message me with taylor swift shit I won't waste my time on your ass

  • Great song sang to perfection by two great artists. Have George Jones and Dolly singing this on a CD and wondered why they didn't sing more together as it was GREAT as well. Won't ever knock Alan, true country singer. He, as well as George Staight, Mark Chestnutt and Joe Nichols have sang real country and have tried to keep it going. Now we have Josh Turner but I think they, and we, are losing the battle. George J. & Joe N. singing Yesterday's Wine "awesome". Too country for Nashville.

  • i love alan and hank my to favort country singers

  • Two of the greatest musicians, both are truly gifted artist.

  • this is the real country music.it just don’t get much better. thank you for posting.

  • great song i got the chills

  • This is hank jr, not sr!

  • Wow man, great preformance by both guys. I know it must of been a true honor for Alan to finally get to preform with Hank Sr. Thats genuine country man. GOD BLESS USA - Dale

  • great song

  • Mr. Jackson, does this song 1000 times better than "Jr". Sorry....that's just the cold hard truth. Hmmm...sounds like a good name for a song! (George Jones)

  • alan jackson does this song good but hank jr will always do it better because he lived it

  • @ddpokerman13 The cold hard truth is that Hank Jr. is the best country singer who ever lived. No one can touch him and that includes George Jones.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE Damn straight best country artist ever hell even waylon said so

  • Ive been a hank fan my whole life and i could not imagine anyone else singing this song, but alan did a very great job and is a very good singer and musician.

  • @kb4450379 Me neither, Hank jr fan from way back in the day but Alan is country and this is his tribute to Hank Jr. He deserves credit for paying respect to the country artist from yesterday. Alan always pays respect to Jones, i admire him for that.

  • 10 people should jump off a cliff

  • Comment removed

  • @01dirtydirt, my teenage ass......I'm 50 fuckin 2 years old.......

  • @richardsegesser you sure dont talk like one. i'm only 21. but i was raised in the country and know better than to talk like that.

  • In my humble opinion, country music began sliding down the path toward pop crap with Garth Brooks ......

  • @rrecroc Maybe if you stopped listening to commercial shit youd hear something real.

  • @rrecroc yep, i agree, Garth Brooks was one of the main ones to help commit "murder on music row"

  • Alan J. did one hell of a job with this song!..Even if its a HW Jr song..Awesome!

  • @Jko78259 what do you mean "even if its a Hank Jr" song? He's more country than Alan would love to be

  • @chesneytritt

Now I'm not questioning Hank, but I am questioning how you judge someones "Country" attribute?

  • Now this is a classic that can withstand time

  • todays singers are fake they wear the wrangler jeans on stage and then off they dress like hip hop douche bags

  • hank is the greatest singer of all time, alan jackon and justin moore have both reconized this.....country folks will survive yall

  • I love bocephus, but it is almost like he wrote this song for Alan jackson to sing it

  • Keep bringing it like this

  • The liquor is the devil.

  • AWESOME!!! BEST EVER! George Jones and Dolly P absolutely ruined this song in my book. Nobody could ever replace Alan's version in my book.

  • @tonileawv You idiot.

  • Two Country icons singing on the same stage, from the heart! That's great country music I can listen to over and over again.

  • @aaronakringe the name of the song is "Blues Man"

  • This is real country music it comes from the heart!

  • Changed, saved and helped many people through some damn hard times. Thank you

  • Utterly beautiful. Here's to the Gentlemen of Country, you left a legacy that has.

  • What's the name of this song? Its awesome!

  • LOVE THE SONG, BUT, HATE REDNECKS. AND MOST ARE.

    DEVOON

  • @44bigevil i agree that old country was the best but some new country that isn't that pop pretending to be country is still good

  • @44bigevil , country has more meaning now than ever b4

  • @richardsegesser no not really rascal flats and johnny reid, and cowboy troy are not country

  • great song!!

  • Hank is # 1

  • I Got the chills When hank Walked out....

  • @TyEnrico same here

  • If it wasnt for that pretty lady he is singing to in the audience he most likely wouldnt be with us anymore. Powerful, powerful stuff.

  • i remember this music its called COUNTRY ..something we dont hear much today if at all .....great job alan and hank 2 talented men singing real music

  • Went to a Randy Travis concert in 1991 Alan Jackson was the warm up band. What a show after he finished all I could say to my wife is this guy is going to the top.

Playing with Hank Jr...I'd say he made it !

  • @TheBluesman1964 badass man, i think country was still country back in the 90's. i wish it was now. take care man.

  • this man is one the best

  • this is the song of the story of my life.

  • This is the song of the story of my life.

  • Alan, Hank, Merle, Waylon, Kenny, and Garth are the best!!

  • hank is the man. him and his daddy are my favorite

  • I love old country. but alan jackson seems to bring the sounds of yester year in his songs. rascal flatts and carrie underwood and taylor swift have ruined country music.

  • @HOGRIDER1202 I love Alan Jackson, he's one of the best. I can't stand Carrie Underwood & Taylor Swift.

  • @MsSweetpea31 , i feel the same exact way! check out miranda lambert tho, not nec essarily what they play on the radio, but some of her grittier stuff. the girl can hold her own with the legends!

  • ggg

  • Love it

  • Great Sory behind this song

  • Check out Wesley Dennis -- The very Best in my Book

  • The Old School: Bocephus, The Man In Black, Waylon Jennings.

Mid-School: Alan Jackson, George Strait, Ricky Van Shelton,

And The New School: Jamey Johnson, Justin Moore, Easton Corbin. They All Sing And Play Country Music Like It Was Supposed To Be Played. Comments Please.

  • @mrcountrymusiclover1 You Forgot one in the New School list --- Jamie Richards A great singer

  • @62fut Holy Jesus, Mother Of God!!! I've Just Been On Jamie Richards My Space Page And I Can't Believe He Thus Far Eluded My Speakers And My Country Music Trained Ears. What A Talent! Thanx For Introducing Me, Amen To You, BROTHER.

  • hey bud i totally agree with your list. but for the new school guys, i think gary allen should be in it, b/c he has alot diff sound then most of the new guys??

  • @13svincent Yeah, i do like gary allan's early stuff but these days he's more mainstream. thanx for the reply, brother. your opinion is much appreciated.

  • @mrcountrymusiclover1 well i can agree with that, i was watching hank williams jr and wylon on here "the conversation" and i was like wow i wish country was still about drinking in honky tonks and telling stories!!! thanks man i appriciate hearing others love for country music. take care bro

  • alan jackson aint pop he is down home country

  • Even the most country of country today is pop compared to Hank. The most traditional artist I can think of that gets major attention is probably Brad Paisley, who I like, but he is way pop compared to the way things used to be. Easton Corbin impressed me with his new song though.

  • @Lankolf, Brad Paisley??? way off on that one..

  • Heres the real list-

    1. Hank jr

    2. Waylon

    3. Merle haggard

    4. John cash

    5. George jones

  • I'm sorry but Waylon was , is and will be number one :) And even Hank would tell you that ! But then again it's your opinion so I will shut up now :P)

  • Ya there mroe like 1 and 1A if you know what i mean. I just like more of hanks songs and can relate more to them then waylons. As they say,,,,,,opinions are like assholes we all got one and everyone elses stinks!!!!

  • @andymccallum32 --- Jr has a 'smoother' voice.

depends on what you measure music by! Damm shame we can't see waylon sing new stuff though! rest in peace.

  • It is too bad Country is dying. In 5 years from now all there will be is Pop. In 10 years everyone will forget Hank Williams, Bob Wills, Merle Haggard and George Jones.

People have already forgotten Marty Robbins, Webb Pierce, Porter Wagoner.

I went to karaoke and sang two songs, 1 by Porter Wagoner and the other by Webb Pierce. NO ONE knew who those artists are. Very sad.

  • @LeCrazyFrenchman Alan is country!!! Now theres Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban that are killin country music!

  • yes, i agree with you =)

  • SleisySoft...In my opinion, your evaluation of country music at its best was between the 80's and 90', for the most part was spot on target.

Of course, there have been a number of absolute beautiful songs since then, but they are a rarity. In My Opinion! And who cares about my opinion? Me...oh hey...pick ME! I Care~~~

  • aj is the last of a dying breed hank sr. would be proud of aj. he's got that old style the real country is bred into that ole boy

  • Hey SleisySoft you need a History lesson or a big dose of Reality !!!!

  • best video i seen in a long time wtgggg Hank

  • Jr. is way better than sr.

  • @xxxxearwaxxxxx You speak blasphemy...

  • ouch

  • 1) Alan Jackson 2) George Strait 3) Dwight Yoakam 4) BlackHawk 5) Travis Tritt 6) John Anderson 7) Sammy Kershaw 8) Ronnie Milsap 9) Jamey Johnson 10) Randy Travis 11) Ricky Van Shelton 12) Alabama 13) Radney Foster 14) Clint Black 15) Sawyer Brown
  • Hey what about Wayon, Johnny, Willie and Kris? :-)

  • Top 20, more around the last 5, but definitely the ones I mentioned are much better. Sure, in their time with the technology and the styles, they were some of the greatest of their time, but we're talking all time greatest.

  • what happen to the legends? such as johnny cash... ect ect

  • As previously mentioned, more in the last 5 of top 20. They might have been the greatest in their time, but my list is more of an all time greatest. I believe the 80s and early 90s is the best era of Country music.

  • thats your opinion and me and many other have ours

  • @budboy1988 Yes, exactly. I'm just stating the reasoning behind my opinion as I seemed to have been given heck over it.

  • WHY???? is Black Hawk and Sawyer brown on this list of yours? the are to pop I thought ur were listing country

  • i love both of them

  • 1) Hank Williams Jr

    2) Conway Twitty

    3) George Jones

    4) Alan Jackson

    5) Travis Tritt

    Top 5 ever

Glad Alan and Bocephus did this. They showed all the Johnny come latelys how to hold the crowd in the palm of your hands without even trying.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE i agree this is a great song about a great man

  • hot

  • Alan Jackson was my favourite singer from when i was 13 to when i was 14 but then i listened to Neil Young and then he became my favourite but whatever. Great Video.

  • Alan Jackson is the real deal. True American music brother.

  • 2:50 - 3:05 That's an old Hank classic breakdown there!

  • wonder full....

  • Classis country voice, doesn't get much purer than this video. No doubt 2 legends in country music.

  • I don't know...Could it get much better than this??!!! Thank you for posting this video. I can't even find the words that would justify it's greatness. Hank is the all time best, and A.J. is one of the few REAL country artists still going strong...What a hell of a job!!!

  • @trampis67 Hank the third, Straight, Jackson, DAC, and Hank J.R. The only REAL country left.

  • born 1987 i like d.a.c. Hank jr and sr and III, alan j. conway, especially with same moore. chris ledoux joe cocker. mostly old timey country and blues. plus alot of new cuntry that makes you want to 2 step and boogey down

  • Im only 18 and I'd much rather listen to older country, hank jr, and sr., alan jackson, and conway twitty, some of the best. I dont understand todays country, I would call it more of pop music than anything.

  • fuck yea brother totally agrree damn those rasclflats sugarland kieth urban the list goes on its garbage no one can do it like they did it back in the day most country now is garbage complete garbage

  • @McKendree2009 you give me hope for this country and younger genration

  • @McKendree2009 AGREED! Country music has been ruined by the likes of Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift! Who remembers Jerry Reed?

  • @mongo5888 i'm still rockin Jerry Reed! but nobody under 35 seems to remember him. very sad.

  • @yetitracker Agreed!

  • @yetitracker Well I sure as hell do!!! You're not the only one who remember the legendary Snowman!!!!
