As for my video it's only a bunch of pictures with a song in the background, it's actually easy with movie maker (and i'm sure imovie) basically you have your time bar on the bottom. Drop your mp3 there and then drop in the pictures and edit it a bit for the transitions.

No i use a windows PC (used windows movie maker).
