@Vote4RonPaulLiberty A stellium that large, that powerful and that varied on the IC would be grim. Terribly destabilizing. Conjunctions are considered difficult aspects, in general, and a stellium that large on the IC would rock the chart, not in a good way. IMO.

I suppose Uranus Jupiter conjunction can bring flashes of good luck, but I would think it with the opposition as well. Uranus/Jupiter in any aspect is going to show instability but that can be as good as it can be bad. Certainly Jupiter's coming conjunction in Taurus will inflate the theme.

@wickkidda I can tell you how it worked for me. I learned the basics, then did a lot of astrology using what I learned and expanded my knowledge through experience. It is handy to have some good reference books to help fill in the blanks in your understanding.

I think it is also good to study another subject, like history or economics or psychology or spirituality.

Astrological conditions are *exceedingly* complex right now, though, and I would hesitate to draw firm conclusions before studying the charts. Current changes are deeper than we have seen in recent times.

The aspects and sign placements are OK, though, and those are what I chiefly go by. Sorry! (I generally don't trust house placements.)

Use: US: July 4, 1776, 5:10pm, LMT (local mean time) Philadelphia, PA and Uranus: May 28, 2010, 1:48am UT, Greenwich, UK.

This should give you Aquarius rising!

With regard to the accuracy of this interpretation given the error in the time of the Uranus ingress. For this kind of thing, I do not *usually* trust house placements. My interpretations are primarily based on aspects and sign placement. Those would not be affected significantly by this kind of error.

I used Philadelphia, PA as the location for the Uranus ingress for *this* video. I was into using Philadelphia at this time, to see how it worked.

If you used GMT or UT for the Uranus ingress, you would get different house placements, etc.

I have double checked the numbers using the data I used and I always come up with the same results.

Let me know how you make out.

In my experience, Aries natives will feel it as soon as Uranus enters Aries. (It will go in and out, entering for the full transit in March 2011.)

How smoothly you can integrate this energy depends on how quickly it will hit your Sun - how much forewarning you have - which depends on how far into Aries your Sun is etc..

Experience suggests that the primary effect of Uranus will be to break or blast you out of unproductive involvements and personality patterns. Experience varies greatly.

Yes, but Uranus first enters Aries on May 27, 2010. It retrogrades back into Pisces on August 13, 2010. It re-enters Aries to stay on March 11, 2011.

Planets frequently move in and out of a sign more than once, but I always use the date of first ingress because that is when people first feel the effect.

Me, I am concerned about Capricorns. Pluto is plowing up their field, big time. It is also making them a tad driven, maybe even obsessive. If I were a Capricorn, I would be doing my chilling out exercises every morning, without fail, for the next decade or so.

Don't mean to be freaking out my Capricorn friends, but it would be dishonest and unhelpful not to say anything about the risks of Pluto in Cap. It is an intense planet in an intense sign.

What was the last time this aspect of Uranus in Aries had occurred?

Uranus was last in Aries from March 1927 to March 1935. Entrance and exit dates are hard to pin down precisely because of retrogrades. These are first and last entrance and exit dates.

I don't know why but I somehow get the feeling that big business will seek to reestablish its stronghold through more subversive means. I also feel that the public at large will not be as susceptible to those tactics and after May 27, 2010 and big business/govt will be met by a public force unwilling to to go back and tread old ground. As a lay-person I find your regular journeys into interpreting the stars fascinating. And particularly so today, as you deviate from recent focus on finance, to touch the realms of the psyche, family, history - the most intimate identifiers of self-hood. A particular thanks for always peppering your necessarily cautionary tale with what to me sound like totally plausible, heaven-sent elements of hope and re-construction. And ... where is March for everyone? :-)

Umm, I have sun at 1 degree Aries and descendant at 0 degree Aries, which of course means that Saturn will also soon be close to my 0 degree Libra ascendant. Do I need to panic?

I think it means that rebellious, unconventional counter-cultural types will come barging into your life from many directions. At the same time, you will become very "discerning," critical of all these new people with their new-fangled ideas. But I think it is something you have sensed coming for a long time. I don't think you will be shocked or overwhelmed. You will probably have to decide who YOU really are and what YOU really want, over and over again for awhile.
