2009's Singapore Idol is definitely the worst of the 3 so far, where singing talent is concerned. The first edition had Olinda, the second had Hady and Mathilda, but this year, all the contestants have been below average.

Really? I personally find that this year's season is much better than the previous 2. At least this season's top 13 were pretty good, IMO. But previous season's Sly Sim really was terrible. Yet, above all, I don't think any Singapore Idol can beat Taufik. He had the moves, the voice, the looks, the mass appeal, everything.

I share your sentiments. It was so disappointing when Syltra was voted out instead of Farhan. She was SO impressive at the Piano show. I believe she is one of the better performers. Yet Farhan who sang terribly last show remains instead of her. Its just really unfair.
