Hey there I just bought this entourage but am just disappointed I have been trying to activate it for about 24 hours now it can't get to work and keep telling me network error code80 please any one with more knowledge about help.
Entourage Systems, Inc. has suddenly discontinued both their original, and pocket, eDGe Dualbooks as of late May 2011. Here is a new, unofficial support forum for all you orphaned users (run by an avid user who is not associated in any way, with the company...totally free, no strings attached):

I just got mine. As a piece of hardware, I love it, but until they get the Android 2.2 update to work on the eDGe and the Android Marke to work on the eDGe, it is a disappointment.
This device is just TOO many steps. Who wants to press all these buttons and remember all these steps? No thanks. I'd rather spend my money on and iPad or something.... and I'm a Microsoft fanboy saying this, lol.
@theHeroesLocker I have been looking into buying an eReader and was suggested the eDGe so my presumptions obviously follow this bias. I think it has great potential for its use, but as an eReader I still stand by my statement that there are much better products on the market. It looks like they're trying to compete with the Apple iPad, which is an interesting twist. I do love that it uses Google Android though. :)
150$ for an ebook and approximately 400$ for a netbook, I don't see the value of buying an all-in-one. I'd like to get my hands on one of them and test it out for myself, but I think I will stick with one device for one use. I am still looking around, but what is the battery life like? A typical ereader can do approximately 2 weeks of use, as a comparison.
@machst3m - pardon me, but I think you're approaching it all wrong. The left is more of an input table side and the right is more of the display computing side.
Sure it has the reader function on the left, but the more important part is the notepad. the ereader is secondary.
There are a few problems that Gizmodo explained in their review, but I think this thing has picked up where the MS Courier left off.
Wow, a ebook that I actually would get, and it's not anymore expensive than the amazons. . . wow, so want one of these things, just don't know what for.
it seemed like it was lagging after every click/pushed button... what's up with that? In this day and age, can't we get rid of freaking lag already. We don't use rotary phones anymore, so why the heck do we still have lag? Fast Fast Fast! LOL

when you get to that screen select the cancel button as entourage is no longer in business. there is a 2.2 android upgrade available.

They misspelled it. It should be spelled "Microsoft Courier."

This would be perfect... with a thinner bezel. That frame is huge.

@chuong19, I concur! Just because the iPad has those THICK 1 inch bezel, does not mean it is good design.
I miss 5mm bezels that was common in Sony products.

FUCKING AWESOME! It's like an IPAD but useful, and reasonably priced.

A application for mixing music live on this thing and I'm a buyer (if it'd support Linux DJ applications I'd be more than satisfied).
