I think the reason a lot of creative types associate certain races with certain traits, is because that's what they know about the culture. You can't really develop a fully developed German character if all you know about them is they like German music or were against us in WWII. Your works and views about them is going to sound biased.

Think of the average amount of childern a Middle eastern person will have in their life time..... and as far as the panda one goes, it was just 2 pandas tlaking like they were from china (The pandas homeland!. I agree. it's not unusual to find different people with different heritage. If all of the characters in the commercial were the same color with the same accent then i'm sure a lot of people would also say its offensive or stereotypical. Everyone is entitled to their opinion I just think that society has labeled these type of things as offense when all they really do is express the diversity of different cultures and people.

Even though this stuff is hilarious, this is pretty racist. It plays to stereotypes, which, by any counts is pretty racist. 7 kids, outrageous accents. It does not display diversity, it enforces negative stereotypes that people already know about.

By the way, he's Indian, not Middle Eastern.
